In an endeavour to address the inadequacies of capacity constraints and improve its modal share in total freight eco system of the country, Indian Railways has come up with Draft National Rail Plan.

A draft of long term strategic plan called the National Rail Plan has been developed to plan infrastructural capacity enhancement along with strategies to increase modal share of the Railways. The National Rail Plan will be a common platform for all future infrastructural, business and financial planning of the Railways. This plan is being circulated among various Ministries for their views now. Railways aim to finalise the Final plan by January 2021.

The needs of senior citizens and differently abled person's needs to be kept in mind whilst making seats. It is very difficult fir seniors and nowadays even for people in their late 30s to sit continuously for 8 hours. The recently proposed seating train from Delhi to Katra and for that matter all associated trains should provide for reclining or sleeper type arrangements to enable children , and senior citizens to sleep and rest. Currently there are no Reclining arrangements. Please do the nee

The trains started between religious places in India such as Vaishnavi Devi express between Delhi to Katra need a silent prayer and meditation room to cater to the needs of people going on pilgrimage and also to yoga practitioners.

Sir, a) Can we afford to make the train journey (on leave) free to all the serving soldiers (not officers, as they are highly paid) and families residing with them in the camp or on their own arrangements and also atleast two journey of 2000kms one way free for the Defence Veterans and their dependant families? b) Serving Defence Personnel are eligible for free ration. Almst all d retired defnce persl r deprived of d Civil supply ration concessions. Pls aprove a green card for them.

Sir Almost all important routes are heavily congested with traffic both passenger and goods train. Need decongestion by way of the following action: 1. single line to double line, double to triple line and so on. 2. increase the capacity of the line for high speed (average minimum speed 150 kmph). 3. increase the capacity of the line for carrying high load ( should carry axle load 40 Ton). 4. make separate line for passenger and goods train for all important routes.

Don't convert Indian Railways in private sector, start all railways trains allover India. Make jobs in Railways. Don't increase ticket price. Thanks

भारतीय रेल भारत की जीवन रेखा है ,जिसे हर व्यक्ति तक रियायती दर पर सेवा मिले इस पर विचार हो ।यात्री को यात्रा मे खाने पीने के सामान रियायती दर पर गुणवत्ता पूर्ण मिले। यात्रा टिकट टर असुविधा के लिए मेल एड्रेस हो जो त्वरित कार्यवाही करे । रेल्वे को भ्रष्टाचार मुक्त बनाये रखने का जिम्मा हम सबका है।

There shall be massive investment into electrification to reduce consumption of Diesel. More and more investment into solar power generation investment by railways to create captive power plant to reduce energy cost. Railways shall be headed by high class professional guys rather than career Indian Railway services officer. Railways shall be broken into regional subsidies and shall be corporatized for future privatization on regional basis

We are looking at metro networks for cities and passenger bullet trains. Many industrialists say China offers them "speed". If India can develop bullet/High speed freight/cargo trains connecting all ports. There could be huge influx of investment and job creation. Bullet freight trains could "position" Indian economy as a "differentiator" among foreign economies just like businesses get "competitive advantage" over other businesses, I think Indian economy can build a "competitive advantage".

Namaste Ji. To be constructed Underground water storage tanks at all major Railway Stations in the country to store water during the rainy season. If do so it will be good enough for the usage of water in the summer season for cleaning etc. Year 2019 i have send this suggestion to My GOVT. But I haven't receive any feed back till this time. Jai Hind.
