In an endeavour to address the inadequacies of capacity constraints and improve its modal share in total freight eco system of the country, Indian Railways has come up with Draft National Rail Plan.

A draft of long term strategic plan called the National Rail Plan has been developed to plan infrastructural capacity enhancement along with strategies to increase modal share of the Railways. The National Rail Plan will be a common platform for all future infrastructural, business and financial planning of the Railways. This plan is being circulated among various Ministries for their views now. Railways aim to finalise the Final plan by January 2021.

The Indian railway is reforming in all aspects. The new designs,logos, train coaches, platforms are of now with the lates technology and appearance. I feel, the "NAME BOARD OF RAILWAY STATIONS" needs to be changed. These are of old designs with unattractive color combinations. In this new era of railway, this doesn't match with the latest reform of the Indian railway. I proposed to be the latest, life long maintained, high quality with latest technology used signboard of the railway stations

In accordance with the prevailing system, passenger/ express trains stop at predetermined locations & platforms, which is displayed in IRCTC websites & concerned station. In some railway stations, relevant signboards indicates the location of coaches for reserved class etc. PA system announces the arrival of trains and coach locations with respect to bogie numbers. This helps knowledgeable & attentive passengers in boarding the desired compartment with ease. However many passengers are unaware

Modisir we are trying to make change with making aerodram with solar power the sme thing should be done rail station...do make rail station with solar power...

आदरणीय महोदय जी इस समय कोविड-19 के कारण बहुत सारी ट्रेनें बंद है, समय और परिस्थिति को देखते हुए और कई ट्रेनिंग एवं माल गाड़ियां कोविड-19 के निर्देशों का पालन करते हुए नियमित चालू कर दी जाए तो वित्तीय प्रबंधन एवं जनता की सेवार्थ एवं सहयोग में काफी सुविधा होगी। साथ ही माल गाड़ियों में कुरियर व्यवस्था भी की जाए तो तीव्र गति से कुरियर भी समय पर पहुच जाएंगे । साथी सभी एक्सप्रेस गाड़ियों का किराया भी आम नागरिक की पहुंच में हो।

As a Railway Employee i just wanna one cost saving suggestion for Railways. Usually at Ticket reservation counter,when a Railway Employee cancelled his reserved ticket,There is no refund will be given but Rs.0 valued ticket will be printed. All railway employees and other passengers surly torn or leave those tickets on counter itself.So its also a unnecessary loss to Railway.

create pollution..Ig you all are a little bit concern about Nature of India please Stop This.Items list and price availability in each compartment. Ordering facility with token no and mode of payment. Display the token no once packed. As a good will gesture one drinking water bottle may offered free for purchase above Rs 250 . Sr. citizen may be allowed to get the ordered items at their place of seat np

आदरणीय रेलवे के लिए सबसे ज्यादा जरूरत आधुनिकतम से आधुनिकतम संसाधन जुटाने की है लोग निम्न मध्यम वर्गीय परिवार भी अब इसे चाहते हैं, किराये की राशि मे बढ़ोतरी हो तो भी रेल यात्रियों को इसकी परवाह नहीं है, इसलिए नीतियों के निर्धारण में इसे ध्यान में रखा जावे। संसाधनों को सुलभ व सुदृढ़ किया जावे।

Sir, Automatic checking system while entering the compartment should be installed to ensure safety of the passenger and to regulate the number of passengers entry.Hope this method will be considered by the authority.
