The Tumakuru city, Karnataka has been qualified under Government of India “Smart City Mission”. The second stage of city challenge is the preparation of “vision and proposal” for Tumakuru City. Hence, the current exercise is to prepare and submit the statement of vision along with the proposal to the Government of India through the active participation of citizens.

Tumakuru City makes an appeal with its citizens to formulate vision and give suggestions to prepare proposal to make it ‘Smart City’.

The Citizens are requested to formulate the vision, strategies of retrofit, redevelopment, green field and pan city as per Smart City Mission statement and Guidelines of Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India.

Please send your valuable opinions, suggestions, the proposals if any and feedback latest by 4th December, 2015.
