Central bus stand and Railway station can be connected by a subway of over head public shuttle service. This reduces pedestrian traffic and emissions. The project also needs no land acquisitions as both ends are government owned. The existing bus stand could be developed in to multi level bus terminus with state of features like escalators, walkalators, wifi, dormitory, express boarding of buses, automated ticket vending m/c. This will put an end to long needed new bus stand discussion.

As a student, I can tell you that we don't get as much exposure to various careers and opportunities as much as students from other city's like Chennai or Coimbatore get, we need more competitions, workshops, media schools and colleges, filming institutes etc.
And as teenagers, we would like to have more places to hangout. At least one Shopping mall is what we ask.

Establish an open innovation platform - Open Data. Today’s Open Data movement represents one of the most powerful opportunities cities have to connect with citizens in meaningful, life-impacting ways. The move to make public data freely accessible to anyone who wants to use it for legitimate purposes has been referred to as “the big bang” for all of the Big Data that cities are amassing today.

Create a citywide security policy that continually assesses risks. It’s important to remember that like privacy) security requirements specified during the design phase must be continually updated to counter new threats and to ensure they remain in compliance.
