The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

A city equipped with basic infrastructure to give a decent quality of life a clean and sustainable environment through application of some smart solution like :-water and electricity supply, sanitation and solid waste management, efficient urban mobility and public transport connectivity, safety and security of citizen especial child and women.

1. Tall building should be installed with solar boards 2. E-governance for all government interaction for corruption free management 3. Quick Sewage and waste clean system with fine for mis-using 4. People should be educated of different types of wastes and same has to be adopted 5. Review and quicker implementation of better education system 6. Wider and planned roads in new suburbs and streets 7. Clean government offices, hospitals and other common areas 8. No political involvement

First of all, make pasighat smart city. We should look on the drainage system especially market areas, colonies, etc. For proper drainage system we need public help. Secondly electricity. Supply of electricity is very poor in pasighat. To make it good government should make dam. In which we need public support.

Smart city give us 24*7 hours it electricity utilisation of solar of cities digitalisation of office files. The river besides pasighat has kinetic energy to built up it as hydel power . smart city can be developed with the availability of water supply electricity, mineral etc. It can develops as an urban area that is highly advance in all manner. Resource of this city can also be maximise with the scientific method like biotechnology.

Embankment of sebo korong should be done immediately or some part of low lying areas like market area to sill would be inundated since level of river is rising due to silting or deposit of sand in its bed.

Proper town planning , arrangements of hydro-electricity,spaciouse lands for establishment like roads,water supply,education,provision of employments to young generation,availability of all required facilities,spaciouse lands for disposing garbages etc.establishment of proper medical facilities.broading of roads for which we need lands and avoid accidents.proper town planning for every official establishment like education,medical,agricultural product and solution of unemployment problems

Pasighat is going to be a smart city and being a smart city it should also have a smart education and security, Proper housing, easy transportation, medical facilities, airport all are required for a smart city. A smart solution is required to make the city smart. Following all these Pasighat can develop a let.
