The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

2.Skill development programmed- Skill development programmed had to be launched where a large number of people can sharpen their quality especially the poor ones.providing training support and guidance for all occupation that ere of traditional types like blacksmiths masons carpenters cobblers welders nurses tailors weavers etc will enable the or to get blue collar job.

Now a day the amount of traffic has increased rapidly, which leads to big traffic jams every day. There are two main solutions improving of roads, highways and improving public transportation. There have been many debates about which solution we should focus on. In my opinion, we should upgrade the road system.

As no humans are beggars, and also they are physically fit government should convince them to work,and earn..this also helps to eradicate unemployment and also we can find no beggars on street also the city looks well to do ....

Road; - the road of paighat is also in bad conditions. The road is damaged in every foot step. The road of pasighat should be well constructed and well planned. The road should be connected.

*Plastics should be avoided, and after the disposal of plastic it should be taken care properly because cow and other animals tend to eat plastic with food stocked to it.

Three ways that the pasighat city can reduce the gap between the rich and the poor- 1.Providing quality education-Quality education must be provided especially to the poor ones.Reserving seats in educational institution for children belonging to below poverty line.More facilities should be provided to the poor children free books and free uniforms must be given to them.A good platform in their future opening large number of schools and colleges where many students can get quality education.
