The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

Cleanliness, our town is not very clean right now and as we know cities are also not very clean. Therefore, i would like to recommend for cleanliness. Especially, river and drains.

The term smart city has attracted a lot of attention in recent years. A useful definition the start calling a city “smart” in when invested in human and social capital and traditional modern infrastructure. Fuel sustainable. Economic growth and a high quality of life with a wise management of natural resources through participatory government

I would like to suggest for a stadium for sports as sport has not been very much encouraged in our town or future smart city pasighat.

My suggestion is that smart city needs smart people. The people must act smartly not in a hasty way. Modern days required a smart city. The entire life of the world has revolution. This smart city is urgent requirement for the development of the country. Under the leadership of prime minister of India, Narendra Modi, initiated this digital India and make in India and made in India. So we the masses of Indian people are necessary to cooperate this remarkable development for our country.

We should cleaned the city, every people should cleaned their our colonies, etc . 1) We could expect a clean city. 2) And let us keep the pasighat as a clean and green smart city.

In the smart city proper drainage system should be implementing. Availability of water is necessary in a city. Our pasighat should have all this facilities. Rivers should be cleaned. Every school must have natural resource can be use for the production of electricity. Cleaned. City is require.

Pasighat should be surrounded with green foilage, shrubs and plants bearing flowers of different colours that gives a magnificant views of roads are wide and clean having bridges and under crossing allowing people or vehicles to pass conveniently,which shows a well arrangement for vehicular traffic and the people on foot.

The population of the city should be counted and recorded. The smart city mission requires people who activity participate in governance and reforms, these people involves themselves in the definition of smart city since smart city is taking compact area approach it is necessary that all the city residents feel there is something in it for them also.
