The Pasighat Municipal Council (PMC) is pleased to inform you that our City has been selected through a competitive process for Smart City Mission under the Ministry of Urban Development (MoUD). In the next phase, our city has to compete with others to make it to the top 20 to be taken up for first round of funding, for year 2015-16.

Pasighat is now required to formulate a vision, mission and a proposal in consultation with its citizens and other stakeholders. Your City needs you!! So, PMC urges the citizens of Pasighat to share their opinions and ideas to make our “Pasighat- a Credible Smart City”. Your views are valuable and can make a difference to our city!!

Your valuable suggestions can bring significant transformation to your city and improve the life of citizens.

Please share your ideas to make Pasighat – a credible Smart City.

The last date to submit your suggestions / comments is 10th December, 2015.

There should be better improvements like: - • There should be better Electricity. • Good water supply. • Roadways should be built of good quality.

Apart from the development, one of the most important developments are the educational fields. More and more schools with technical collage should be heeded upon. All of them must be complete with the modern infrastructure so that Pasighat could be became a great educational hub having highly qualified and skilled teachers.

More jobs opportunity for the unemployed citizens. Introduction of digital technology to enhance performance and well being to reduce cost and resource consumption and to engage more effectively and activity with its citizen. As much as the vision of smart is incredible and rational.

We have NH-52 running through the town but roads in other small sector or colonies are no worse than having a road. In order to be a smart city, I say the citizen of pasighat should think smartly in the first place. Pasighat is an educational center and it should be further taken to the next level.

3. Waste Management, In order to sanitize the town waste management is an indispensable aspect of town planning. The local govt or panchayat should be keep Strict stringent law should be framed and implement strictly. 4. It connectivity and digitalization , Digitalized information technology is the main key to smart city ,to ensure this we must ensure uninterrupted power supply.

1. Adequate water supply, as pasighat is located on the banks of the river siang,I would like to suggest a multipurpose hydro project should be build by tapping the source of siang for various purpose. 2. Sanitation, equal importance should be emphasis on health , hygiene and sanitation ,proper sewage and drainage should be maintained and clean everyday.

• Better hospital and good doctors should be available. • Wine shops should be banned. • Checking of vehicles should be done in every check post i.e. Helmet, License, Age restriction etc.
