City Slums need to be Removed by custructing Appartments. So that with use of less land we can provide shulter for more people. Wast management plants need to instolled out side the city. Metro trains need to introduced in the twin city so that we can reduce road transport dependence and it will also helps in reduction air pollution by limiting Private buses and KSRTC busses. To make the city smart, the citizen should be smart first and this can be done by creating more job opportunities.
1)Creation of small scale industries for women.
2)Creation of IT industries for all the youth generation.
3)Create a system of sensors, web and mobile apps empowering citizens to monitor and improve their own responsibilities for their city.
4)Traffic sensors connected to each-other traffic poles to check speed of vehicle to avoid accidents. 5) safety measure for women.

Remove all stray animals. Pets should be licensed. One way of generating revenue. Paid parking strictly managed by HDMC. Increase fines for parking and other violations.

Government agencies could increase revenue by spending time optimizing the collection process thinking like a business on how to make it easy to make people pay their fees There are a lot of unpaid parking tickets, library fees, business/property taxes, and other fees that can ramp up quickly if governments optimized the collection process.

The very important issue in Hubballi-Dharwad is the road transportation facility, which is of primary importance. If this can be solved with good Roads the half of the smart city is built. We have the lots of ideas and plans which are all innovative, and every student here comes with new thoughts the only problem is we could not speak to the right person to implement them.......this is a wonderfull platform for all......Thank you NAMO sir....

REVENUE GENERATION-There is dire need of finding ways to generate revenue to meet development needs of HDMC. We have excessively been relying on grants from state/Central Govt, instead the HDMC should involve local industrialists, other Govt agencies and even the AAM ADMI. The appropriate agency for the purpose may not be the HDMC because of their reputation and The Dist. Admin may do a very good job. The SURAT city has become FIRST city to be covered by CCTV& 92% came from PUBLIC

I am resident of hubbali since 30 years I have seen the exponential increase in the number of vehicles in the city. The concept of public transport is slowly diminishing in terms of its usage for leisure activities ,shopping visits etc.Koppikar road and dajibanpet have been favorite shopping destination from decades. The traffic in these 2 roads creates major chaos especially during holidays and marriage seasons.exclusive parking areas can help in pedestrianising these & free pedestrian movement
