Keeping some part of road towards left and right end as reserved for public vehicles like buses, so that they won't face traffic and their movement will be easy. This attracts people to Use public transport. People tend to Use public transport more and more to avoid traffic. And also constructing pedestal along the road helps people to move safely.

All the improvisation we r seeing in view of smart city is commendable.. As a budding engineer I would suggest to take social economic and environmental issues into account!!! On account of this there is lot of construction an engineer should take care of the above mentioned issues like he must use the raw materials which are economic also one must have employment opportunity & environmental problems must be taken into account!!! Hope my suggestion helps !!!

1.High Speed, uninterrupted Road Networks (Like that between Silk Board & Electronic City in Bangalore)from important places in the city like Airport/Rail Station/ Bus Stand to Industrial Areas. 2. Using GIS Software/Technology, with minimum human intervention, to ensure all buildings / lay outs adhere to approved plans.

Developed more open data sets, nurture startup abilities and create new tools out of available information. The city can be improvised by investing in automated systems for water and waste management and public motility systems. Decentralized planning, renewable power and green building infrastructure also play an important role.

All are thinking that smart city it means it has to include technology. But the first preference to give is cleanness. It has to be need for Hubali-Dharwad. The government has to ban all pan Masala. We have more number of historical places we have to maintain them properly. Then we need make people to aware about the importance of smart city. First we have to complete the swacha Bharata. Then smart city will success. ci

A smart city uses digital technologies or information and communication technologies to enhance quality and performance of urban services, to reduce costs and resource consumption, and to engage more effectively and actively with its citizens. So the concept of smart city in hubli-dharwad should have been the best starting but here the people are suffering to travel on road in daily life . The implementation of the IT companies are needed to bring out the talent of youth.

1st preference would be bringin in the IT companies into Hubli-Dharwad.Cleanliness would be the other concern and strict rules should be made to maintain cleanliness.Construction of ring road and widening up of roads should be at first as it would be rather difficult to do this after the city's growth. I hope these points are taken into consideration.Great work with the BRTS Project(hope it gets completed soon)and all the development that is happening in Hubli-Dharwad.Proud to be frm this place
