The country is well endowed with many metallic and non-metallic mineral resources.  India is a leading player in respect of many non fuel minerals including, iron ore, bauxite, dolomite, lime stone and mica.  Mining sector (non-fuel) currently accounts for approx 0.5% of GDP.  For accelerated economic growth on sustainable basis, this sector has to grow at a much faster pace to secure   a higher percentage in the GDP.
 
Scientific, sustainable and transparent mining practices require well trained manpower.  Skill development not only enhances productivity and safety at work place, but more importantly, it prepares the manpower to adapt to the new state of art technologies. Currently this sector employs around 0.2 Million workforce which is estimated to grow to 0.3 Million in next 10 years.

mining sectors really need the practically training oriented and technology knowledge driven program to the work force which is involved in mining in various sectors , our P.M. is going to Australia from this country the mining technology can be taken or some work force can be send to Australia for training and then to train Indian workforce about efficient and safe mining,the disaster management during any emergency at any mine is also very needed which may be taken from Australia.

पंचायती राज व्यवस्था में सत्ता के विकेंद्रीकरण से यदि किसी को लाभ पहुँचा तो, वो हैं पंचायत प्रतिनिधि! इससे इन्कार नहीं किया जा सकता है कि गिनी-चुनी ग्राम-सभाओं ने आदर्श प्रस्तुत किया है! सब मिलाकर इस पर ध्यान देने की जरूरत है कि सत्ता के विकेंद्रीकरण के साथ-साथ सत्ता के केंद्रीकरण की भी व्यवस्था हो! यदि आज़ाद भारत का सपना वास्तव में साकार करना है तो इस समस्या का समाधान करना पड़ेगा! आँख मूँद कर विकास के नाम पर करोडो खर्च करने से पहले अब तक किए गये कार्यों के सत्यता की जाँच होनी चाहिए !

पंचायती राज व्यवस्था में व्यापक सुधार की आवश्यकता है! चूँकि भारत गाँवों का देश है और बिना गाँवों के विकास के देश के विकास की परिकल्पना नहीं की जा सकती है! पंचायती राज व्यवस्था में गाँवों के लोगों द्वारा लोकतांत्रिक तरीके से पंचायत प्रतिनिधि का चुनाव किया जाता है! ग्राम-सभा स्वयं में एक लघु संसद का रूप है! पंचायती राज व्यवस्था में सत्ता का विकेंद्रीकरण अर्थात असली सत्ता जनता के हाथ में, की नीति बहुत ही अच्छी है! लेकिन परिणाम कितना दुखद है कि करोडो रुपये खर्च होने के बावजूद आज तक नहीं विकास हुआ!
