Shivamogga City Corporation, Shivamogga in Karnataka State has been selected by the Ministry of Urban Development as one of the 100 smart cities to participate in the Smart City Challenge Stage-2 by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. Shivamogga City is the head quarter of malnad region located on the Western Ghats. Mainly Shivamogga City is known for its culture, education and commerce.

Shivamogga City Corporation Shivamogga has to submit a Smart City Proposal (SCP) to the Ministry of Urban Development, GOI which shall outline the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders unfolding the aspiration of people matched with the vision contained in the smart city proposal.

After first round of consultation and with the result of citizen aspirations we are uploading the main features of the proposal for citizen views. The residents are requested to post their suggestion pertaining to the proposal.

We waste most of water while washing clothes and utensils. We can install a recylier between these two to use the water again and than send it to toilet cleaning..

Meters should be put in atto,prepaid attostation near railwaystation & busstand,uniform for drivers & conductors in city bus,saperate bus service for Lion&Tiger Safari-Tunga Annakattu-Sakaribailu,waste mgmt in school & collages,solar power for streetlights,public toilet,start compost near d vegetable market,Waring helmets for 2 wheel drivers-seatbelts for 4 wheelers. 'GREEN And SAFE SHIVAMOGGA'

स्मार्ट सिटी योजना के तहत हो तो सुनयोजित तरीके से एवं पर्यावरण को देखते हुए हो से चाहे पुरे शहर शहर में इलेक्ट्रिक के वायर, टेलीफोन वायर एवं सिवेज पाइपलाइन एवं सभी मुलभुत आवश्यकता को पूरी करने वाली हो ना की बार बार उन्ही के लिए आम जनमानस को उनसे दो चार होना पड़े

पार्षद राजनीती से प्रेरित एवं कुछ अन्य कारणों के कारण पार्षदों से शिकायत करना नहीं चाहती है, ९० प्रतिशत जनता को यह भी नहीं मालूम होता है की उनके वार्ड में किसी समस्या के निस्तारण के लिए कितने कर्मचारी है|

school kids and young generation belonging to this area will have lot of ideas and they can also participate. Govt should encourage school and colleges to participate by not just giving ideas but by implementing them.

For smart city main things are high speed internet, education i.e schools equipped with internet and digital boards. Self generating and sustained Power. Rain water harvesting, Digitally connected and well equipped hospitals with pvt participation. well planned storm water drains, underground pipelines, cable system, wide road roads. Education and promotion of modern farming.
