Shivamogga City Corporation, Shivamogga in Karnataka State has been selected by the Ministry of Urban Development as one of the 100 smart cities to participate in the Smart City Challenge Stage-2 by the Ministry of Urban Development, Government of India. Shivamogga City is the head quarter of malnad region located on the Western Ghats. Mainly Shivamogga City is known for its culture, education and commerce.

Shivamogga City Corporation Shivamogga has to submit a Smart City Proposal (SCP) to the Ministry of Urban Development, GOI which shall outline the consultations held with the city residents and other stakeholders unfolding the aspiration of people matched with the vision contained in the smart city proposal.

After first round of consultation and with the result of citizen aspirations we are uploading the main features of the proposal for citizen views. The residents are requested to post their suggestion pertaining to the proposal.

No proper drainage system. Illegal encrouchment of roads and canals in colonies and society. Poor waste management. Child labour.

People park their vehicle as per their convenience and not according traffic sense. Citi bus stops like auto in every part of road and drives rash and negligently. City bus stops every where except bus stop.

aaj tak koi bhi smart city ke suggestion forms lekar hamare ghar nahi aaya hai,but they were falsely claiming that we came.wo to mai itna aware hu ,so i knew about all this and i myself went and took 100 forms from zone office and personally distributed it to my local residents and relatives and told them to give thier valuable suggestions ,so that nigam receives ""what we all want"".

respected sir, your idea of city development is very good, but the food waste which is generated by hotels, homes etc can be processed and natural gas can be produced with the help of microorganisms, this gas can be used for cooking this gas is not harmful for environment. Fermentation process can be done and this also can be used as fertilizers by the farmers and a good crop can be developed.....i have shared 2 ideas with you sir...plz reply #Shivamogga, #SmartCity, #MyGov

जिनके घरो मे बोरवेल हैं उनके घरो मे 80% लोगो के घरो मे वाटर रिचाज नहीं पाया जाएगा किपया वाटर रिचाज पकक़ा करवाया जाना चाहिये

As i live near raipur so i want govt to concentrate in near by villages for their developement road facilities near baloda bazar is in very bad condition . But as far as raipur to be smart city it will be developed if near by small city will be developed .

Public transport, Air pollution by industries, cutting of trees, local people are not provided employment by factories working here.
