Last month I had a chance to Visit Srinagar for almost one week from 9th April to 16th April. I visited for five days Tral, hometown of Burhan Wani terrorist who was gunned downed last year. During my stay I noticed that Roads in the area are in very bad condition. I had not seen any Government School or health centre from Srinagar to Tral. The huge Population of india often cited as a boon is actually a curse.it puts enormous strain on financial resources of the country but more importantly on the natural resources i.e water, forest cover, wildlife more and more of this resources are consumed and polluted to sustain this evergoing population if this is not addressed now it will lead to disaster. The mother earth can bear to extent and not forever. Atleast 2 child policy should become mandatory.
