Raising the capital has been a long drawn challenge for start-ups. Angel investment and seed investment is easier to find, as the amounts are smaller, it has gotten much tougher to go for later stage rounds, as companies burn too fast and do not look at unit economics. Raising funds has become more of a celebration; rather it should be of an entrepreneur making it to the start line of the race. Very limited funding is available in forms of larger cheques in India. In our eco system (India) we patronize the founder, and not the company, and sometimes the founder can be caught up in glamour of funding. Entrepreneurs should set the goals for the next 5 years and should not be obsessed with raising the funds.

In India, every state has a unique taste, culture, food habit, language and outfit. So, what is selling in Maharashtra like hot cakes might remain untouched in Tamilnadu. A thorough knowledge of region-wise need and a practical market survey is of utmost importance before venturing into the perilous sea of startups. Location thus plays a key factor in the success. In this particular case, it’s better not to stick to Steve Job’s suggestion of not asking the customers, for people don’t know what they want until you show them. One should remember, every startup doesn’t produce something as revolutionary as iPods.

India has the largest youth population, which is the largest driver for innovation, workforce, talent and future leaders. India has its own challenges of education, health, infrastructure and the rising gap between India and Bharat. This presents big opportunity for start-ups to solve a variety of problems. India has the population of 1.3 billion people; the country’s middle class is growing along with the consumers. The large diversity in the India’s population makes a strong case for a rich services and products economy. Start-ups should look at banks; our banking system has reaped the maximum benefit of our population size.

The economy of every country depends on its countrymen. Larger the number of employed or working people, better the economy. The Indian Government realized that Indian people have a potential to work hardly, all they need is a promising start up. Many people dream of starting up their own business but due to financial or other similar issues are unable to do so.

Globalization and entrepreneurship can go hand in hand! Globalization facilitates technological innovations that help entrepreneurs to ensure growth through easy processes. Kant said, "Globalization is the key to success and for that it is important to dream big." Entrepreneurs will grow automatically, if they continue to extend globally. So, it means for entrepreneurs to become the part of the global world in very important.

According to Kant, "The Indian government is helping startups and entrepreneurs by scrapping old rules presented there for more than 60 years." A set of new guidelines and policies is launched by the present government to promote innovative activities in India. 'The Startup India' is a flagship program intended to reduce the rules and regulations burden from Startups. In case of taxes, exemptions are given all along easing compliance and reducing regulations.

Dear Modi Ji, India is an emerging market for startups and entrepreneurs. Although for new businesses, there are some key challenges that are very difficult to conquer. Without overpowering these challenges entrepreneurs and startups cannot build a big business. If we are just getting into business, we should be ready for both challenges and opportunities that will come in a better way.

Happy to note our beloved PM delivering speech in youth festival. Now youth population in idia is 50% below 25 years and 65% below 34 years. So much young manpower can propagate and develop the country in all the fronts. With motivational speech of our PM, he has to fill full enthusiasm in the youth population. As swami vivekananda said , youths are heroes and energies for future. Youth should always think bold, always think about what help that they can give to neighbour and to the nation. They should not leave courage under any circumstances. If water drop falls in mud, it will become waste. Same water drop falls in hands , it can be drinkable. If same water drop falls in shell , it will become pearl. So youth should decide, and try to evolve as pearls. Thereby the nation will develop
