In the latest episode of Mann Ki Baat on 27th September 2020, Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi spoke about the art of storytelling. He mentioned that the history of stories is as ancient as the human civilization itself. ‘Where there is a soul, there is a story’.

As we are going to celebrate 75 years of independence, Prime Minister urged storytellers across the Nation to share stories of many inspiring events during the entire period of our enslavement. Especially, from 1857 to 1947, stories around every major or minor incident during this period can be introduced to our new generation.

“May this art of storytelling become stronger in the country, become more popularized and easier to imbibe - this is something we must all strive for”: PM Narendra Modi

Do you know of any inspiring event during the 1857-1947 freedom struggle that isn’t so well known? Maybe a long-forgotten hero who did not get as much prominence as he/she deserved? Maybe an incident which played a minor but important role in our struggle? A story you might have heard from a family elder, many years ago?

Tell us, we will feature your story for all Indians!

Share your story in the form of a video, audio clip, picture or essay.

Another glorious story is their which is also credited by the British officers also. And thousand of girls inspired by her. Yes the one and only :- RANI LAKSHMI BAI (Jansi ki rani). She is the most Bravest queen and freedom fighters among all. She save her jansi until her last breath. But unfortunately at last she died. But the British government later said that the real winner is Rani LAKSHMI BAI. She is a great idol for all girls. Jay Hind jay bharat

unsung heroes and those contributed maximum for freedom struggle were given least share. Those who were put in kalapani and hardest jails not once but for many times , false narration were made they were associated with the Britishers. On other hand all facilities ,even cook was provided with crockery those who were on picnic in jail were told real heroes ...that is the irony and tragic ones. There should be law for writing true history.Furnishing wrong facts must be jailed.Time to rewrite history
