In the latest episode of Mann Ki Baat on 27th September 2020, Honourable Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi spoke about the art of storytelling. He mentioned that the history of stories is as ancient as the human civilization itself. ‘Where there is a soul, there is a story’.

As we are going to celebrate 75 years of independence, Prime Minister urged storytellers across the Nation to share stories of many inspiring events during the entire period of our enslavement. Especially, from 1857 to 1947, stories around every major or minor incident during this period can be introduced to our new generation.

Do you know of any inspiring event during the 1857-1947 freedom struggle that isn’t so well known? Maybe a long-forgotten hero who did not get as much prominence as he/she deserved? Maybe an incident which played a minor but important role in our struggle? A story you might have heard from a family elder, many years ago?

अब समय आ गया है कि भारतीय मुद्रा पर गांधी जी की फोटो की बजाय अन्य महापुरुषों की फोटो भी छापी जाए। इसमें सारे पूर्व प्रधानमंत्रियों, राष्ट्रपतियों या सरदार पटेल, बोस, विवेकानंद, दयानंद सरस्वती, राम कृष्ण परमहंस, लक्ष्मी बाई, शिवा जी महराज, लोकमान्य तिलक, मदनमोहन मालवीय आदि की फोटो भी छापी जा सकती है। विदेशों में तो यह किया भी जाता है। अलग अलग वैल्यू के नोट पर अलग अलग फोटो छापी जा सकती है

Velu Thampi dalawa is best known for being one of the earliest person to rebel against British. He was born in Thalakkulam village southern part of India,Kanyakumari district.

Hi Modi Ji, Greetings ! I am a software engineer and i doest not belong to any party. From previous 115 days the only thoyghts which went through my mind is as follows. - sushant was brutually murdered no action taken - disha salian was raped and murdered no action taken - cbi is not doing its job honestly - ncb trying to move media attention today sushant case is being delayed - aiims we don't trust anymore - policia we dont trust anymore

खेजड़ा एक्सप्रेस 1991से पटाखों को खतरनाक जहर बताता आ रहा है। एक डॉ ने लिखा तो मानवाधिकार व सरकार हरकत में आ गई और पटाखों पर पाबंदी लगाने की सोच होने लगी है । इसी प्रकार कोरोना को मारने का शोध का सूत्र भी कोई डॉ कहेगा तब ही विचार होगा पर डॉ व वैज्ञानिक अभी इस गहराई में जाने की योग्यता नहीं रखते । ओम शांति ! 💐💐संपादक, खेजड़ा एक्सप्रेस

Tribals in Orissa, Maharashtra and other places initiated the armed struggle against British in India. The focal point of 1st war of independence 1857 Mutiny was Hindi heartland (UP, MP, Bihar) and Sikhs were British soldiers. Later Sikhs revolted against the British but British quelled Sikh rebellion by the assistance of Punjab's Muslims in British Police. If Indian tribals, 1857 rebels and Sikh had formed a joint front against British; India would be independent far before.

Struggle is still on. In a paper mill, efforts were made to reduce effluent discharge from 1200 KL/Day to 550 kL/Day. Another approach (costly) implemented is expected to reduce it to zero. As per norms, mill can discharge 1200 KL/Day. Still, getting permission for 550KL/Day is too difficult. Officers forcing to reduce discharge immediately to zero. Other mills, who did nothing special in this front getting permissions at full discharge. The struggle is on.

सीधा साधा वेश था, करते थे सीधी बात। सच्चाई का लेकर अस्त्र, करते थे अहिंसा का पाठ। अंग्रेजों से हमें बचाया, आजादी का मतलब समझाया। ऐसे महापुरुष को सब ने, शत्-शत् शीश झुकाया। तुमने खादी को अपनाया, तुमने देश का मान बढ़ाया। स्वच्छ भारत का नारा लगाया, सब बच्चों के मन मंदिर में देश प्रेम का अलख जगाया। ऐसे महापुरुष को सब ने, शत्-शत् शीश झुकाया।। अपने प्राण देकर, इस देश को स्वतंत्र कराया। ऐसे महापुरुष को सब ने, शत्-शत् शीश झुकाया।। 🙏🙏।।नमन है तुझको बापू।। 🙏🙏

plz sir draw ur attention at my view bade sharo m shayad kai naari atamraksha prashikshan kendra hoge par chote sharo m abhi bhi nhi h sir so plz atam nirbhar k sath atmrakshak bharat abhiyaan ki shuruat bhi karwa de har chote bade gaav m naari atamprashikshan kendra khulwade plzz sir hame nahi chahiye kisi ki raksha ham khud apni raksha karana chahti h plz plz plz plz....
