Govt will need to ask the Private Buildings and not only Government Buildings to also setup Solar Panels or WindMills on the RoofTops There are lot of IT Parks , Big Housing Projects , Shopping Malls that can afford to put up solar panels and windturbines Govt should make it compulsory to such buildings , so they can generate their own power maybe 10% to 20 % of such should come from renewable energy Also start ads on renewable energy like putting up windmills and panels

There is no seriousness by the state government for roof top solar grid connection. I have put 2KW panels at my home and applied for grid connection almost one year back and there is no response from the electricity department

As we all know, that solar panel can be nice option for that. But we believe that if possible, government needs to invest on more R&D into that. Because currently solar panel can convert only about 14% to 22% of solar light into electricity. If we can raise that to as maximum level as possible, that will be real revolution into this sector ! #RenewableEnergy, #EnergyConservation, #MyGov

Special economic zones are being built all over the country. There are several high rise buildings that are being built to cater to growing service industry specifically IT enabled services. The power requirement of such buildings can be catered by making it mandatory for buildings above a certain size to have solar panels to meet some of their power requirements. Several government offices , airports, railway and bus stations can be modified to generate their own power from solar panels.
