Water required for this cultivation can be arranged from nearby village/town area treated sewage water. In Gulf countries the sewage water is treated and reused for irrigating the parks, city landscaping including some of the “date trees ”. We can also adopt this method for “Jatropha” irrigation. Cultivating Jatropha gives bio-diesel and also employment opportunity for farmers, re-usage of sewage water, eradication of unwanted “Seemai Karuvelam” trees and un-touching the cultivating lands

One of the renewable energy is bio-diesel. Cultivation of bio diesel plants like “Jatropha” can be taken up in dryland using treated sewage water. In Tamil Nadu Prosopis Juliflora plant (Seemai Karuvelam in Tamil) is growing everywhere and State Government is trying to eradicate these “Seemai Karuvelam” trees due to its character and environmental issues. These types of drylands can be considered for cultivating “Jatropha” plants for making bio-diesel.

Sir, I feel more duty subsidy should be given to import Lithium Ion battery to develop cars to run on battery power and for import of electric motors suitable to run cars, cars have been designed in Bangalore to run on Lithium Ion battery by importing motors and Li Ion Battery which is working out unviable. I am sure by doing this we can save a lot on oil consumption and save on valuable foreign exchange spent on import of fossil fuel.

respected pm sir, i am ishank subudhi , presently studying in class 12 science in kharagpur, west bengal my idea is to use the organic wastes such as peels of fruits etc can be used to generate electricity. if we can make some smart dustbins in which a circuit of zinc and copper plate will be accordingly arranged so that the paste of the peels thrown into the dustbin can generate some electricity. i know it produces comparatively low as much but can be a revolution if we can correctly use this.

The caring of nature was most welcoming part of Government decision to have these type of RENEWABLE energy usage on behalf of depleting Petroleum products. The only one thing to say is protect Mother EARTH from destruction as by POLLUTION and MASS production of destructive things.

India has plenty of locations suitable for solar and wind energy plants. The government could act as a venture capitalist for initiating numerous ventures in this sector which is now totally left to the private sector. NTPC and NHPC could also be roped in for this initiative. All structures of NTPC and NHPC could have solar and wind energy plants to begin with.
