I suggest that instead technical education should be open for 100% FDI so the local standard will itself improve with competition. It will stem brilliant students going to such institutes and stay there after studies. Govt. should also withdraw financial support to such institutions as they charge good fees. Govt. should only guarantee bank loans for poor students against a bond to join govt.service afterwards. AICTE should be merged with any rating agency to monitor this sector.

Modiji, All the Internal Assessment including attendance were given to all candidates in private as well as government colleges without assessing any quality of the students. It is simply money making procedure for these colleges. The teachers who are correctly assessing the students are getting marginalized. They are also forced to give marks. So the first thing is to stop grading system. Make unified syllabus and conduct nationwide examination for all disciplines

MODIJI, If we have money we can purchase an engineering degree from any university in India. This is the current situation of our country. For eg. Teachers from various engg.colleges & polytechnics in Kerala procure their M.Tech degree in various disciplines from outside the state only for monetary benefit & promotions under AICTE. Interesting fact in all these are they are working in their institution in Kerala while taking the degree. Imagine the quality of teachers with this fake certificate.
