Government will not succeed in this mission unless public owns responsibility. Children and youth must be encouraged to plant trees. One easy way is to make it a part of the culture. Each family should plant one tree around their locality for every festival they celebrate. Imagine the impact, if this becomes a part of the ritual over a period of time. All government has to do is to distribute seedlings / saplings.

Only Govt. cant reach out the particular projects like clean India & Green India. We as a Ngo designed a pilot project under Swachha Bharat Abhiyaan to maintain cleanliness. We designed a dustbin which can be fitted into lorry's so that waste of the moving lorry's can be conceded into it.The concept was designed and the pattern was created successfully and it was made into practice in presence of Hon.MP. of AhmedabadEast Sh.Pareshbhai Rawal under the theme of Swachha Bharat Abhiyaan

We should REALIZE THAT WE DEPEND ON TREES AND NOT THE OTHER WAY.FELLING OF TREES SHOULD BE PROHIBITED STRICTLY.FELLING OF TREES FOR WIDENING OF ROADS SHOULD BE STOPPED. IF NEED BE THEY MUST BE SHIFTED AND PLANTED IN OTHER PLACES.

Where trees need to be cleared for Infrastructural Projects Machines must be used for displacing the big trees from their original place and planting them else where. The idea has been immensely successful in Gujarat; why not test it at other places??

People must be encouraged to plant trees .District level competitions must be encouraged wherein the people claiming to have planted and nourished maximum no of plants and trees in a single month must be awarded. People planting and nourishing at least 100 trees in a year might be promised a Free Air India trip!!!!!

To create awareness about climate change, Documentaries should be shown on impact of global warming and its solutions in schools, public & private organizations, Cinema Halls, TV Channels, Social media and news media like in China a powerful independent documentary on pollution, “Under the Dome”, was viewed online by about 200m people.

Sir, Today everywhere, widening of roads, real estate and other concrete jungle works are going on. If every human being is given one plant to be grown, atleast in India we can have greenary after 50 years or more. Golden quadraple road was laid in the era of hon'ble Atal Bihari Vajpayee time. Now our Hon'ble PM Narendra Modi sir time came to make India green near by All roads where all Trees have been cut. Make arrangement to have green India for future generations ahead.

Implement organic farming in ecologically sensitive areas. Especially western ghats should be protected at any costs. Decommissioned dam sites like shiruvani dam, mullaperiyar dam etc must be converted back to forest. No commercial activities should be allowed in the ecologically sensitive region.

Protect forests at any costs. Impose heavy penalties to those who destroy forest area. Implement Madhav gadgil reports. Do not allow any commercial activities in the ecologically sensitive areas. Ban resorts, jungle safaris, stone quarries, hotels and other commercial activities. Restrict such activities under government agencies. Implement buffer zone between forest and populated areas. Do not allow private estates inside forest. Use the buffer zone for rehabilitating animals in man's custody
