Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

Namaste.I am a Cancer Specialist and working in the field since last 12 years. I see many cancer patients daily and I feel sad that I can't cure most of them.Most of the cancers are tobacco related and affecting young population. So my question & sincere request to BAN TOBACCO Nationwide sothat many of the lives can be saved. and not only due to cancer but also many diseases like heart disease burden will come down drastically after 10 yrs.Alcohol ban in Gujrat is sucessful, so this can be done

There Should Be One Website Provided By Gov.For All Collages/Schools.For All Educational Fields Like Engineering Or Medical etc...For All Students Monthly Report Card..So Teachers Will Upload Students Monthly Report About Progress / Marks etc By Login.& Parents Does Not Need To Come In Collages/Scho... >more...

Dear Mr PM, 1. i am a resident of Dombivali(east),dist Thane Maharashtra. 2. I have written 2-3 email to ACP and DCP traffic Thane to take action against the arrogant and errant autorickswallas and the way 6-7 unauthorised auto standsa have sprung up. The traffic police and RTO have failed to take any action because most of the autos belong to them. The auto wallahs dont take single passengers and deny old persons, pregnant ladies to their destinations. Sir I would request you to take actio

Dear Sir, 1. I am a resident of Dombivali (east) and I have already written 2-3 mails to you which you had efficiently forwarded to some psi in Dombivali for action.The only action he has ever taken is to shun the complaints. 2. The inefficiency of Dombivali RTO and traffic police is at its peak. The auto rickshaw wallahs have taken the system for a ride. Auto wallahs are taking four passengers in auto flouting the rules and this is happening right under the traffic police.

Sir, Like the requirement of attestation by gazetted officers on documents was done away with, obtaining of conduct certificates except from those of schools/colleges, be considered to be dispensed with for appointment in govt./bank jobs.

dear pm sir,i m writing this with my belief that u will do sumthing toward us.sir i have completed master in visual arts ,many of my friends in the same stream have same problem ie we are unemployed.two year ago govt of assam under sarbha sakha abiyan announced to take art music teacher.me and my friends also applied but after that it will not proceed further sir please do sumthing for us.sir in class 10th course there is fine arts subject bt there is no teacher to teach the subject.

sir aaj sabe badi samsya hai pani ki aur hamara desh krushipradhan desh hai pani ki kami ke karan log kheti karna band karke shahro me kaam kar rahe hai ye bharat ke liye acha nahi hai eska ek hi upay hai aapko pure bharat me nadiya jodne ka kaam karna hoga aur mujhe aisa lagata hai ki bramhaputra aur ganga ka pani pure bharat me failana chahiye. impossible ho to bhi karna hoga kyoki aabadi badnewali hai pani lagega hi.aur ek river par 10km pe weir dam gate banane honge.

Dear PM ji, 1. PROVISION SHOULD BE GIVEN TO OUR VOTERS THAT 100% VOTING SHOULD BE MANDATORY. OTHERWISE HEAVY PENALTY SHOULD BE GIVEN BY VOTERS. VOTES SHOULD BE GIVEN BY BIOMETRICS OR FINGER PRINT SO THAT ONLY ONE TIME VOTE IS POSSIBLE. 2. EVERY OFFICE, TRAFFIC, GOV. OFFICE, ROAD, TRASPORT SHOULD BE MONITORED BY DIGITAL CAMERA SO THAT NO CORRUPTION CAN DONE. 3. TRANSACTION SHOULD BE BY ELECTRONIC NOT BY MONEY. THIS SHOULD BE MANDATORY.

Hon.PM sir. Pvt Fin Companies are exploiting consumers. They botch up loan documents and inflate demand of money. If consumer stops payment of EMI, they report to CIBILand damage his credit rating. Then, Consumer cannot avail loans in future from institutions. These malpractices are spoiling business environment. 100s of complaints are available at (e.g. http://www.mouthshut.com/product-reviews/Bajaj-Finserv-Ltd-reviews-925595717). Pl. enact deterrent laws to control their malpractices. Thanks
