Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

Respected Sir I think a big problem in india is a large no. of people who are not eligible for any govt. scheme, But they use all govt's schemes. Result of this practice poor people or eligible people never take benefit from these schemes. My suggestion regarding this problem we should take oath on stamp paper with notarise from each beneficiary about elegibility critiarea. After some time there should be enquiry of each beneficiary. After enquiry Wrong person should be punished and penalised.

I’m glad Modi’s government (out government) is working to bring changes to PIO and OCI programs/policies for Non Resident Indians (NRIs). I think India should look at Dual Citizenship option to bring talent pool back to India. I’m sure many people don’t want to renounce their Indian citizenship as they emotionally connected to their roots. But with no option left, they are doing it. There is big difference in saying, I’m Indian vs. I was Indian.

Today, Indians have to renounce their Indian citizenship to accept other nation's citizenship. I understand they have an option of OCI and PIO cards to stay life time in India. But still it is kind of visa and they are being treated as foreigners. I feel one way to connect them back to Home country is thru dual citizenship. Many countries like Canada, Japan, and United States etc. allow dual citizenship. They want their people to come back at any time and invest their wealth and knowledge..

kis shastar or puran me likha hai ki hume puja karke havan samagri phool vaigra nadi me dalni chahiye ? phoolon se bahut achhi quality ki Bio-Manure (Organic Khad) banayi ja sakti hai . TVchannel par kurmute ki tarah ugne wale ye jayotishi or dhram ke dekedar kaya janta ko batayenge ki phool ko kisi ped ke niche ya apne bagiche me ya park me dal de to jamin ki shakti badane ka kam karegi dharti mata ka bhi bhala hoga or environment ka bhi.

Kitne sharam ki bat hai ki azadi ke 67 sal bad bhi hume swach bharat abhiyan ki jarurat padti hai. Hindustan ki kismat hai ki hume ek aisa PM mila hai jo kuch karne ki soch rakhta hai ho or hum use kanha uljha rahe hain ? PM ka kimti time or dimag hum kanhi behtar jagha use kar sakte hain. par socho jara humne unhe kanha uljha rakha hai . Ek iklota shakhsh jo humari( Hindustaniyon) ki international pahchan banane ke kabil hai use humne kanha busy kar diya socho ek bar.

Education system in most of the schools and colleges is limited to making notes for a particular subject. No practical knowledge is given to students which is the biggest obstacle in quality education. Teachers too are appreciated on the basis whether he/she is dictating notes or not. We must find a solution to this problem.

Dear PM Modi ji, INDIAN POST should add online MAIL FORWARDING and MAIL HOLD facilities. This will support business and mobility. Most countries have this online facility on charge-able basis. Dear Sir, As government has started Swachha Bharat program , but as in other countries on footpath there is dustbin on corner or in side lane , but in our country we don't have footpath in most of city to expand road , as well, as not dust bin on side track of road. I am for Baroda , previous constituent of Mr Narendra Modi , as we have VMC retri Bazar , I have not seen bustbin there also. So, please request to put permenent dust bin on side lane of foot path , if we have foot path.
