Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

If you find global best practices of how various Governments have been innovatively engaging with their diaspora through such summits, you can share the same here too.

Dear PM .. This is my second discussion regarding Safety culture indian general industry and construction industry ,we very well know about abrod safety culture for both above, but govt is not give ant prime important to Health safety and Environment, every thing in paper and under table,if we are think about clean India, general industry workers and construction workers have a massive roll for this,if Safety culture should be strictly implement ,then it could be a good support for clean India,

Honorable Mr. Prime Minister, I have observed one worst thing in all restaurants across India, that is waste of food. Our country is having huge amount of deaths of children as well as adults due to starvation. They don't even have access to hygienic and nutritious food. Government needs to think in this direction to avoid unnecessary waste of food. Penalty should be imposed on People who are wasting food in the restaurants. RESOURCES BELONG TO SOCIETY,NOT TO INDIVIDUALS.

One of my well wisher Mrs Vinita Shivade (Age 73) (9764707618) Wanted to share following information related to Eye donation. She is very active in the field of Eye donation. She feels that After death Eye donation should be converted in to law so that blind people will get eyes and we could even export. Shrilanka alone is taking 25% share in eye export. So if eye donation is made by Law we can fulfill requirement of India.

as regds black money, we have enough of it in india too, we can get cracking on it. KYC norms should be made applicable to co-op banks and co-op societies which are biggest recipients of unaccounted cash deposits. further, TDS provisions should be made applicable to all bank deposits w/o any limit of amount and and filing of returns shld be made compulsory for those wanting to claim refund of excess tax deducted. forms 15G/H shld be abolished as they hv been rampantly misused. Respected Modiji: We all strongly agree with Shubham Agrawal's observation. We need very strict rules to stop food adulteration and especially for milk. People to make some quick money are risking others life. If we are a nation which considers so sacred, how can the milk be left to be adulterated. The people who are in the process of such adulteration should be handed severe punishments which would deter others from involving into such acts.

PM in his campaign trail vociferously narrated about the last mile connectivity between government and people, an aspect very few talked about in Indian polity. We spend or rather waste lot of our time fighting the delivery aspects of governance. Request PM to drastically improve the services of LPG dealers and BSNL poor connectivity/ service drop-out in favour of private players. The citizens could instantly get the benefit of better and effective governance.

Pravasi Indians are good source of funds. If govt. can fine-tune the projects to be presented before them, it will be easier. I infer, Centre has over 50 main depts. that handle various projects. Govt. has to list them acc . to importance, invst. needs, time-frames, locations, No. of agencies to be involved, PPP or pvt etc. & present in select number of Brouchures. Afterall, all invsts. & projects are unique on their own. By such focused grouping and targeting, get them interested to commit.
