Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

If you find global best practices of how various Governments have been innovatively engaging with their diaspora through such summits, you can share the same here too.

( I ) In the 1950s three PSU Integrated steel plants at Bhilai, Rourkela and Durgapur were setup. What does 'integrated' means? Right from raw-materials to finished products all processing are done in them. Even now one can see how locations have been well selected= next to Grant trunk roads, Major rail-lines; adequate water; captive power plants; well-planned townships; organized civic authority to help inmates incl. maint. personnel ; upkeep of good law & order and so on. Why do I point to it?

Every state should make a list of NRI s living abroad. Send wishes to them as per functions or festivals being celeberated in that state. Celeberate NRI Day, invite them. Have food and special dishes of that state share it. Take them around the state, explain them ground realities. Make them emotionally bound to spend time or invest in the development of that state. Create an atmosphere where the NRIs would like to visit their places regularly.

Respected sir,There are Legislative assembly elections tomorrow in our state.I work 750 km away from my home town where i m registered in voters list.So it becomes difficult for me to reach my home town and vote both financially and physically.Todays world is digital one.We can always keep records of millions of people easily. we can create a system that a voter in state can vote anywhere not only at his registered place. This can be easily done by assigning digital signature, unique ID or Online

Jai hind Sir, sir i hope you have seen the aftermath of HUD HUD. People are fighting with each other for a packet of water. Strong people are taking every thing and poor and weaker side are abandoned and these things are being sold to these people at very high prices. Sir is this the nation you want to bring the change?? I think people like these should be hanged upside down and to be beaten. Sir but i just have a doubt what was police and NDRF team doing.

I am an NRI professional and also an active volunteer of Overseas Friend of BJP, USA. The small town of Karimganj in Assam is connected to Silchar via NH-44 which are 55 kms apart. The people of Karimganj need to travel Silchar frequently for getting medical, educational, business reasons. Patients in critical condition has to pass through this. There are stretches in the highway which are just in unimaginable condition. Assam CM Tarun Gogoi sucks, the NDA govt lead by Modiji is our only hope

Dear sir, I would like to draw your attention regarding a misuse of govt. by a govt employee. I have come to know many such cases about the pvt. Business being run by the govt. employees in the name of their spouse, parents, close relatives and friends. Its like they are drawing income from the govt and also from the pvt. Business. It needs to be checked and strong action should be taken against them.

Hi team, i have a suggestion for the women working in govt. sector, but they are in different distric. ther can't do their work properly because they are away from their families. so if they are working in their distric i think they will perform better for india. Its a small issue but impact more. I have a Example- my neighbour are working in NRHM and her family is in faridabad distric and her duty in Mewat distric. So its a very big concern for the lady who are working in different distric.

Hi I am an NRI living in USA. But now I wish to come back to India and start commercial dairy farming. I want to give up my NRI status. But as of now I have funding problems to finance my Dairy Farm project to provide fresh and clean milk. Is there any way I can find out if any government agencies would be able to guide me in this.

this is the suggestion for our transport system that each and every vehicle should be having a different bank account and the tolls at the highways must be drawn automatically from their accounts ,this would also help to collect penalty against people who break RTO laws and thus it would be easy for government and people too to obey the laws and enjoy the technology thus reducing time in transportation and saving fuel too

Respected sir, I want to draw your kind attention towards the government schools. Many schools in the town are not built properly and are not safe for students. Proper maintenance and construction is required. Also, quality of teaching is not at all satisfactory. I hope u will take steps as soon as possible. It would be grateful of you....
