Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

If you find global best practices of how various Governments have been innovatively engaging with their diaspora through such summits, you can share the same here too.

May investment of our PRAVASI bharatiya be also near small towns, villages so that peoples of that locality be benefited ant not think to migrate towards big cities for jobs... Hope our big minds of governments solves difficulties coming into this as everybody thought to do business at big places...our pravasi bharatiya should be INCENTIVISED for starting their ventures at these places.

Health Care is one of the upcoming issues in the Indian Market. Allopathic market is targeting our country whereas our own ancient techniques of YOGA and Ayurveda are not able to stand as they should. Even the people of villages lacks knowledge in Ayurveda in which they were masters 2-3 generations ago. Ayurveda and YOGA needs to be revived at local level. Let our ancient knowledge flourish. I have myself used many cures for diabetes and Cardio diseases and the result was positive.

I feel the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas can be made into a more inclusive event. With the Indian Diaspora outside, it would make sense to involve average folk and not only business men, local top notch high end people. It would make sense to talk about using skills Non Resident indian's have gained to be implemented back home. Also use the force of Indian's to help out in Rural/ Villages. I would be more than glad to help.

Here in Pune Roads have different dedicated lane which can be only used by BRT(Bus Rapid Transit) Buses . We people have observed no buses runs on that lane. To use the space intelligently and effectively PMPL/MSRTC/Ambulances should be given authority to ride on those lanes. My request is you to take this topic to Pune Transportation officers. Also this facility has not been started on Ahmednagar highway and that lane is idle, In this way it can be used wisely and it will relate to less accidents

Following suggestions: 1. Possibility for the Indians to vote abroad via Indian Embassy 2. Government investment instruments with attractive rates specifically for Indian diaspora investing above 10 lakhs for 5 years or more. 3. Biometric registration for the diaspora on arrival in a foreign country, thereby keeping a track in case of emergencies or disasters 4. Allowing contractual temporary work in the central governement - who are interested to serve the nation.

I would like our new government to make it compulsory for everyone to vote. If any person eligible to vote has not voted then strict action should b taken against such people. I think that these people's subsidised cylinders should b cancelled or any such kind of action should b taken. Plz make some effective law for right to vote
