Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

If you find global best practices of how various Governments have been innovatively engaging with their diaspora through such summits, you can share the same here too.

Dear Prime Minister...I believe not only we should become a economically strong country but also a very "Happy" country. If every citizen can conciously do one good deed a day however small it is,then 1.25 billion good deeds additionally daily makes India happier..A small example could be when driving a car to stop a few seconds and allow people to cross the road.especially the aged and children. Not only our roads become safer but the gratitude of those we help will make us feel happy

In my view a new movement should be initiated by our prime minister to launch health for all for which every citizen should be covered with the health insurance may be the premiums be partly charged from the benificery and partly by government every citizen must be given free treatment on the basis of health card that is to be linked with adhar card so we can say स्वस्थ्य रहेगा इंडिया तभी तो बढेगा इंडिया

A similar online application and administration site to allow investment in India could be beneficial. This will remove hurdles of being misguided within the country. Asssitance from registration, land/rent, resourcing etc. should be transparently provided through the portal. Guidance on risk and local issues would help as well. Onground case officers can assist in facilitation

Dear Sir, Sharing idea-"Yashoda Mamta Griha" a baby care center. Govt supported baby care center should be created in urban areas every 500 sq meter(with cctv). Please consider this suggestion and my other suggestions(digital interactive library) This is useful to take technology to the most deprived. Also with some modifications this can be used for facilitating peace in violent areas. Please give a 5-10 min. appointment for demo. We can NRI help for implementation.

Pranam,it is very painful today to hear that a 4 year girl died in a non productive bore well hole.It is not the first time that happened. I request the honorable PMO to instruct the concerned authorities to see that the unproductive/left over/unused bore well is refilled with ready mix by collecting the cost of the refilling,to prevent further deaths of children.

Pravasi Bhartatiya (NRI) should be treated as an ambassador of India while on his visit to India. He should be made to meet the Prime Minister whom they worship like God.His plans to help India grow be processed seriously. Sanctions to make his investments in India be cut short and made easy.
