Recent trade data highlights the importance of reducing gold import, but most of our fellow countrymen strongly prefer gold. So, it is the right time for RBI and government to come up with new investment scheme to attract idle ETF's held gold with interest component, which will encourage our gold loving population to invest in ETF. Further, Bank can sell the deposited gold to ornament manufacturer. In net effect we can save import of gold to the extend of gold current held by ETF's.

NRIs can help to establish collaboration between universities. We have bright students who lack funding and equipments for experimenting with their fresh ideas. These things can be provided by foreign universities so that our students can, publish and attend conferences whenever they do something new. I would like to discuss this issue when Indian Ambassador will be visiting Oulu, Finland next month.

I believe there is a trust deficit between our INDIA and INDIA for NRI's. That deficit has to be fulfilled. A lot of leakages in the system makes the implementation of projects ineffective. A small limited group can oversee the Financial Investment-Planning-Execution of the projects sponsored by NRI's. Have progressive people in the team serious about delevering.

NRIs are national assets. so we have to utilise them for the growth of our country, in terms of economical, social, cultural etc. first of all i will say good initiative by our PM taken in U.S.A for the well relief of NRIs and PIOs.
our government should provide well planned and effective policies to attract them , so that they will come india to invest or encourage others to visit india. this can only happen by good governence and e- governence

NRI should given a chance to invest at their belonging state. Voting opportunity should be provided to NRI at their place. Each and every NRI to be facilitated by the government and a special padma awards should be announce by the government to outstanding NRI. A system pledge for INDIA could be introduce to enhance the investment from NRI. NRI should act as a brand ambassador for MAKE IN INDIA program for their respective countries where they are staying.

Pranam Modi ji. When NRIs land in India they have head held high and chest puffed up. They are proud Indians coming for visit after succeeding abroad and overcoming challenges. In such a situation they should be made to feel welcome by Indian Immigration and Customs at Airports; not treated like spoilt children, criminals or smugglers. We should upgrade our intelligence and surveillance rather than overcome that lapse by questioning and delays. Customs & Immigration should be sensitised trained.

Majority of NRIs, even if they hold indian passport, are not able to vote. An easy solution of this could be thought of by IT experts

It is better to plan for more Foreign Investment. I think we need to create environment that will automatically attract investors. When domestic investors are not protected like what happened in National Spot Exchange, where an Exchange failed, how can foreign investor have faith in Indian financial system.
