Pravasi Bharatiya Divas has emerged as a wonderful forum to strengthen the bond between the diaspora and the people of India. It offers unlimited opportunities for India to gain from the skill and insight of the diaspora, who have been the pride of India across the world.

This forum seeks inputs on how to further sharpen the focus of Pravasi Bharatiya Divas for the overall development of India. Share your views on what more can be done to make the interaction between the NRIs and the Government more productive and impactful. How can India receive more investment not only from the diaspora but also from the world at large?

If you find global best practices of how various Governments have been innovatively engaging with their diaspora through such summits, you can share the same here too.

State level summit and showcasing opportunity will give opportunity to NRIs to think about possibilities for business partnership. Respective state Govt. will start their preperation well in advance. Centre should give them necessary guidelines for preperation well in advance

Previously I suggested PPP as the mode of FDI for improvement of Infrastructure and investment. This mode can be used as participatory mode between Govt., Indian company and FDI also. But the success of PPP lies in spreading the projects throughout India. If any corner is left behind from development then PPP will fail because PPP seeks participation of public use and pay.
