There are number of people outside India serving the society in different ways and means. At present the Pravasi Puraskar is being given to the rich and famous. The common man's effort also should be encouraged. So that the there should be section to honour the common man considering their contribution to the society.

A system should be developed like the provident fund for NRIs and proper benefit should be declared. There should be a system to attract NRIs to this system and they should be given benefits like pension after a certain period depending on their investments.

A separate department should be opened to handle the NRI deposit and they should have proper rules and regulations to run the fund.

The government should have a system to monitor how much money is sent through proper channel. For this purpose the remittance should be linked with the passport in collaboration with foreign banks so that the hawala system could be monitored.

Sir., Admire your Passion and Zeal. There seems to be so much energy spent on 'looking outside' India. Kindly arrange to 'look inside'. Even influential Gurus go outside to establish ashrams. One of the Guru said that in a Developed Country they just give you a code book along with permission to build a building. On the inspection day if the building isn't in line with code book, the building goes down and 'you go in'.
World learnt form India how to look in and it should be difficult for her

The investment from common NRIs would be attracted in case the government is assured higher interest for NRI deposit as they are afraid to invest in government projects due to existing corrupted bureaucrats. Government should assure them even the project is flopped the investment would be secured and the certain interest, that is higher than banks would be given to them. There should be provision to deposit from Rs. 1000.00 and the multiples so that the common man would be interested.

Without the investments from NRIs we can earn more deposit in the foreign fund if hawala is banned properly. There should be a system to monitor the earnings and spending at the root in foriegn countries on each person which could be developed with the help of residing countries. This system will tell us how much NRIs are sending through proper channel and compel them to send through allowed channel which will destroy the hawala system. I believe at least 50% of the earnings are sent through haw

Sir, I am a regularly attending the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas. The output from the decision taken during the meet was poor. Hope Our Prime Ministerji will really will go deep in every decision and such decision may start working as well as people shall start investing in every field, particularly the bottle necks may be removed. effectively. Particularly in Kerala the entrepreneurs interest gets lost due to the change of policy and tough environments like regular hartals, etc.
