Many people who are settled abroad have lot of cash in their accounts and they get very less interest. Ask them to remit as $ in Indian Bank account with a promise of at least 5% interest in $. At the same time, they should be able to withdraw the money when they want with certain agreement. $ will pour to this country. Now they are getting 1 or 2%. Bring out some attractive schemes

There are numerous opportunities for Indian companies in every sector to build partnerships with companies overseas. However, there is tremendous misconception of the US business culture among Indian startups. US is like any other country in the world - if you want to enter a new market, build a relationship and lasting partnership with a local company. Don't come there to "sell" - come to build partnerships.

There are many NRI's with year's of experience in various technologies and industries who are interested in mentoring as well as helping/investing (financially and otherwise) new business ventures. This venue could be used to create such alliances between new businesses in India and the mentors in USA.CANADA etc. This venue could also be used to create 'networking' opportunities!

NRIs can start a NRI Fund which will provide capital. Entrepreneurs from India to submit their project business plan to the Fund Committee. The start up Business plan must aim to fulfil a need within India for manufacture or service. NRI Fund will approve the capital based on review of plan submitted. NRI Fund will in this way participate in Bharat Nirman and earn a commission or profit sharing from the capital provided.

The Hon.Prime Minister's vision of export based economy can be strengthened by many NRI's who wish to invest in India. The Government must assist these NRI's to overcome the bureacracy and together we can, I am sure, build a viable and vibrant export based economy rather than import the items from China etc. This is my vision and I am confident the Government of Shri Narendra MODI, will do utmost to facilitate this programme of expansion and encouragement for NRI's. Members of the diaspora can help in promoting start ups in their respective countries. They can work as ambassadors to the start ups. They have to arrange the conferences in cities and towns to give the address about their start up product to the entrepreneurs and customers. And also explain about the quality and the merits of start up product than other products. This will help in promoting start ups in their respective countries.

Like US, Can we remove tax from Angel Investor/Venture capital fund from Start up companies. Though, we need to define start-up based on profit and number of employees.
