Lack of livelihood opportunities for tribal people is one of the chief causes of their backward status as compared with the other social groups. This issue is aggravated by the high rate of displacements faced by tribal people due to various industrial projects etc., which also causes loss of livelihood for them among other things. This Ministry has been taking various steps for facilitating sustainable livelihood for tribal populations in different sectors. Stress has been given on vocational education and formal technical education for tribal youth. States are being encouraged to take upskill development initiatives for tribal youth with at least 50% of such activities to be oriented for women.

Through MyGov, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs seeks suggestions/information from all sections of the society regarding various livelihood possibilities for tribal people, availability of skilled/unskilled manpower still unemployed, various traditional skills available with the tribal population, new trends and interests among tribal youth, corresponding skilling needs and possibilities etc.

District Singrauli is a power hub since here NTPC, NCL,JP Power Plant and many private sector companies are situated but the situation of the tribal people in these companies is not satisfactory. I elong to ST comunity & completed electrical engg and was engaged with an NGO Jan Shikshan Sansthan,Sidhi(M.P.) in the field of Skill Development for 5 years and then work with a Gram panchayat Sarpanch for 5 years. Now I'm unemployed. Development Block wise survey is needed for skill development .

Need to improve State Bus Services all over the States of India with latest facilities like front and back station communication,good Seating Arrangements, good entertainment coaches. Good quality of Bus Stop well equipped with Amenities like food/Snacks,toilets, Good hygenic drinking water and quality Announcement facility.

SMART CITY The cities to be selected should be minimum one from each State. It should be densly populated, with good education facilities, equipped with Medical and capacity for expansion. Cities in my view is Nagpur, Bhopal, Hyderabad and so.

Working for a vanavasi hostel in Kozhikode. There are at present 25 tribal boys of various ages.They are backward in studies.It is difficult to get tution-teachers for them.We are trying our best...money also is a problem...

visited NE part of India &have seen their life style . They don't have proper sanitation, drinking water & Health facility.Ill-transportation system has kept them far away. Facility provided by the govt for SC ST is facilitating only a group of St people who lives in City or have financial strength but those person who need it are far away. Please introduce Income-bar for reservation & can be availed only once during entry into govt job not through out the life.

I HAVE AN IDEA TO BUILD AN AYURVEDIC HEALTH RESORT ON DAMAGED TEA GARDEN AT TRIBAL AREA.That can give an better socio-economic life to the tribal people and tea garden workers through giving employment to our project.If its accepted globally, our INDIA will regain her glory on medical field.BENEFITS from the PROJECT are a) treatment and prevention centre b) employment c) restoring the utility of the damaged tea garden d) better socio-economical life to tribal people and tea garden workers

पी टी पी एस पतरातू में एक और साजिश:- NTPC को प्लांट देने में कोई खराबी नहीं लेकिन लोगों को बेघर कर. कैसा ये विकाश कुछ समझ नहीं आ रहा.
