Lack of livelihood opportunities for tribal people is one of the chief causes of their backward status as compared with the other social groups. This issue is aggravated by the high rate of displacements faced by tribal people due to various industrial projects etc., which also causes loss of livelihood for them among other things. This Ministry has been taking various steps for facilitating sustainable livelihood for tribal populations in different sectors. Stress has been given on vocational education and formal technical education for tribal youth. States are being encouraged to take upskill development initiatives for tribal youth with at least 50% of such activities to be oriented for women.

Through MyGov, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs seeks suggestions/information from all sections of the society regarding various livelihood possibilities for tribal people, availability of skilled/unskilled manpower still unemployed, various traditional skills available with the tribal population, new trends and interests among tribal youth, corresponding skilling needs and possibilities etc.

what INDIA need is good management not new policies or new trains. PM sir u say save fuel but how ? poblem -traffic biggest problem that s created by the traffic police and Manciple cooperation . in this area there must be some strict management action must be taken .causes 1- police, political leader or manciple cooperators shops on main road .2- bad Quality of road. 3-alternate roads for traffic faces same problem . solution - strict action & respected person should be suspended

Thank you sir for great and prideful work through rail budget you put Indian rail at world scale.I proud you and your government at the time of establishment because i am a born R.S.S activist at 37 years ago but being a old R.S.S activist now working with defence depot.After a long time while on leave i said to my elder son to communicate you and my greating to you and my own aim iso go on the way of modern India. Tribal people can be engaged by Gov to guard our forest resources. They can collect timber, dry leaves, jadi buti, honey etc and sell in the market.from the residues forest compost can be prepared.

नमस्कार ! मी एक लघु उद्योजक असून मला ग्रामीण भागात घरा घरा मध्ये उद्योग सुरु करायचा आहे ..त्यांना स्वयं रोजगाराच्या संधी उपलब्ध करून द्यायची आहे ! पण सध्या स्तिती अशी आहे कि कोणतीही योजना हि सफल नाही त्या कामासाठी ..कुठे तरी पाणी मुरतंय त्याचं ...! अशा वेळी योजनेची मतद न घेता एखाद्या आर्थिक स्थित्या स्थिर असलेल्या कंपनी ची मदत घ्यावीशी वाटतेय .माझा मते सरकार असफल आहे त्या कामासाठी. कारण हेच कि योजना आहे पण पोहोचणे पण तेवढेच गरजेचे आणि हक्काचे आहे ! मला ह्या कामासाठी कुणी योग्य सल्ला देऊ शकेल का?

We can bring the change by allowing the seed to grow in their own manner, means we should have to change our way of teaching by introducing newew types of schools which will study them in a different and friendly environment... So that they can sense the equality and the true nature off them and help them to nurture it.. New schooling system will allow child to find their true strength.. Ourr tribal children find western way of teaching a bit harsh but we will make them learners...

livelihood opportunities for tribal development:1. production of silk by silkworm (sericulture) 2) milk production collection by co-op society like Aanand , Gujarat (animal husbandry) 3) sheep- wool making 4) tree plantation, making saplings and can be sold or exported 5) food processing 6) honey & wax production by honeybees. 7) vegetable production. Land acquisition and displacement of tribal people elsewhere is not a solution. details like investment required, skill sets etc can be provided.

The tribals are ahuge prospect of hockey in india. they must be trained properly alonwith with the sardars so that we can win another gold medal in the olympics. there must be aseparate hockey academy both in chota nagpur and in the punjab plains
