Lack of livelihood opportunities for tribal people is one of the chief causes of their backward status as compared with the other social groups. This issue is aggravated by the high rate of displacements faced by tribal people due to various industrial projects etc., which also causes loss of livelihood for them among other things. This Ministry has been taking various steps for facilitating sustainable livelihood for tribal populations in different sectors. Stress has been given on vocational education and formal technical education for tribal youth. States are being encouraged to take upskill development initiatives for tribal youth with at least 50% of such activities to be oriented for women.

Through MyGov, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs seeks suggestions/information from all sections of the society regarding various livelihood possibilities for tribal people, availability of skilled/unskilled manpower still unemployed, various traditional skills available with the tribal population, new trends and interests among tribal youth, corresponding skilling needs and possibilities etc.

A new home rooftop projects first time in india,fully automation monetoring by mobile,fresh organic vegetable(green medicine)with filteration of water by RO,save water upto 90%,solar 1kwp with tracking system,cooling rooftop and cool air,using led light for photosynthesis,plastic and alluminium for long life 20 years,chip cost project. a single rooftop projects multiple uses like saving of water,electricity,gas,petrol, VERY BENIFICIAL FOR HEALTH AND WEALTH.

Its good if the govt can establish/improve new/present centers as information and finally implementation centers at village panchayat level. But its very very important to note that most the poor are addicted to alcohol and tobacco products which firstly should banned. Most of the daily wagers are spending all/most part of the money due to addiction.The other thing is due to hygienic condition tribal are exposed to severe health problems.So Health ministry and this ministry should work together.

All kids under 18 must be in school and it must be free till grade 12 for poor people, also poor people should be given monthly income to support the family as walfare income i.e. based on cost of living standard. Arvind

India should make minimum wages for all at least 50 rupee per hour so it will reduce help poor people and it will boast the economy. Arvind

More Horticulture / floriculture training centers should be opned to train and encourage small farmers in remote or tribal areas. The setup should be further subsidized and also the logistics chain for marketing these produce should be subsidized as well.

Dear sir, for tribal life improvement first the proper coordination to implement of scheme to give them benefit. 1. to organised to get earning from natural resources. 2. No more free things to eat but medical and education should be free. 3. No wine drinks for them (should be banned).

Educating and devloping their thinking is most necessary. Dont spoon feed them. Make them capable of earning their own meal. Change of mindset is must. They must be ale to survive and flourish on their own. Education is the only way. I mean true education not just book knowledge and even more sanskar are necessary.

If Govt. can establish "Herbal marketing Centers", we can train them to collect herbs of use for use in Ayurveda and other medicines. They have to be given training. They should receive payment in time.
