The large Ex-Servicemen community is a living reservoir of discipline, courage & skills honed by their military life. Secular in outlook, and above group loyalties.Too often, they withdraw from public life after retirement, their potential untapped. The government can channel their qualities into the improvement of local communities by organising them into formal groups for disaster relief, civic initiatives, youth training, and neighbourhood security. Such platforms will give fresh meaning to their lives and transform their service ethos into a continuing force for India’s progress.

This year, the Prime Minister should advocate for peace to the world, not war. He should proudly highlight the success of Operation Sindoor and the valour of our soldiers, dedicating this year to the brave men and women of all three armed forces. He should also speak openly about our commitment to strategic autonomy, affirming that we will continue to work in line with our national interests. While reiterating that India is a peaceful nation, he should make it clear that if challenged, we will demonstrate our strength and resolve.

Judicial Reforms 1. Huge number of pending cases clogs the judicial system, this impacts both economy & ease of living. 2. Lack of judges per lakh of citizen, poor court infrastructure, use of technology in courts 3. Court procedures very old and redundant 4. Very weak witness protection laws and infrastructure 5. Even after judgments, implementation is slow or ineffective due to weak coordination with police or administrative bodies.

On the 79th Independence Day, I request the Hon’ble Prime Minister to emphasize the importance of advancing India’s space and defense technologies, promoting self-reliance in satellite manufacturing, AI-based agriculture forecasting, and renewable energy solutions. Special focus should be given to skill development programs for youth in rural areas, ensuring they are part of the nation’s technological growth. Let us aim for a future where every village in India benefits from modern science and innovation.

Financial crimes are increasing but overloaded investigating agencies are not able to complete the investigations and these people run away from country. This is a big issue impacting countries economy and taking our countries wealth abroad using hawala and crypto currency route. Sir our country need a specialized agency for financial frauds, MLM and Pyramid Schemes. Very strong law on crypto currency.

Respected Prime Minister, Bharath has become the most populous country in the world. It’s more than 140 crores! The need to control population is greater than ever. The biggest problem we face is , social harmony and peace of mind are dwindling. The society is getting chaotic by the day. There is no breathing space. Natural resources are dwindling. The ecology and environment are getting more and more polluted. How long will we continue like this? Have we forgotten the need to control population? A few years back, you had spoken about population control in your Independence Day speech. But these days nothing is being heard. The decline in TFR is not a stable change. We cannot remain complacent with that. Sir, kindly exhort people to adopt small family norm. Let this year’s Independence Day speech mark the beginning of a fresh move in the country in this regard. Wishing our dear PM all the best, Jai Hind. Mangalachandran Thalassery Kerala
