Respected Prime Minister,
I am writing as a common middle-class citizen who feels the pressure of rising living costs. GST in India is among the highest in the world, fuel prices stay above ₹100/litre mainly due to high taxes, and toll charges keep increasing even after roads are paid for. but still roads have potholes
At the same time, tax benefits on home loans, insurance, and savings have been reduced, making it harder for families to plan for the future. Food and housing prices have gone up sharply, but our incomes haven’t kept pace.
I request you to kindly consider lowering indirect taxes, restoring key deductions, and ensuring GST revenue is used to improve public services like healthcare, education, and roads. This will greatly relieve the middle class and boost the economy.
Jai Hind.
