Karnal has now been given the opportunity to submit its updated proposal for Smart City under Round-2 of the Smart City Challenge. Karnal Nagar Nigam invites ideas, suggestions and comments to make Karnal a Smart City.
Karnal Municipal Corporation (KMC) propose to re-engage with citizens and community groups (including prominent citizens, students, women’s groups, industries, NGOs) to understand key pain-points and reassess the aspirations and expectations from a Smart City for revising the proposal for Round 2 of the Smart City Mission.

KMC seeks to obtain feedback on the revised smart solutions for defining the vision, goals, Area-based and Pan City initiatives. The citizen engagement would lead to a meaningful envisioning exercise and identify the priority areas of physical, social, economic and institutional infrastructure.
