In the past few months we all have worked in conjunction towards making Kanpur a Smart City. The citizen feedback received at various stages of this competition have been carefully analyzed to articulate the vision, goals and now the projects proposed in the Smart City Proposal.

Citizen interactions, expert opinions, and deliberations by departments have all contributed to developing this Smart City Proposal. Before the proposal is submitted to MoUD for its kind consideration, all citizens of the city are invited to give their feedback on the proposal developed.

All flags and stickers in the private cars and hooter, extra lights/loudspeakers should be banned and strict action be taken against the offenders.

The surprise visit should not have fixed time and even the subordinates should not know the locations.All concerned officials should be brought to task in case of irregularities. The religious/personal functions should not be celebrated disturbing the traffic system especially during the Board Exams.

A inventory and list should be available on Nagar Nigam website for all qualified registered Doctors, Nursing Home, Hospitals, Hotels so that people can go to a proper place for their use. A special grievance cell should be made for public services and their number should be displayed at all public places. The Commissioner,District Magistrate and responsible authorities must devote 1 hour each for surprise inspection of different areas of metropolis and report it to their seniors with photos.

The fashion of issuing of estimate to consumers by the shopkeepers should be banned immediately and Govt. should publish it and have hoarding to this effect displaying the contact phone no(whatsap) so that people can report it.All sweet shop owners and local shopkeepers should issue computerised bills to the consumers.The digging of roads for any public/local cause should be made cognigble offence.

All tax evaders who are selling their products by organising exhibitions/fair should be made accountable by checking their stocks and registration certificates.They must issue regular bills to the consumers as crores of tax evasion is being done by selling through these types of outlets.The city is plagues by private taxi owners who are evading both local and state taxes by running taxies.It is being done on a large scale and probably under the knowledge of local police which needs curtailment.

A hot line no. be circulated to public for reporting traffic jams and illegal parking.In ever area govt. should make parking slot within every 20 houses.The local authority should identify plot/house/park wherein a multilevel parking should be made even at the cost of occupying private property and make some amendment in the law so that it can not be challanged in court of law.

The road side washing car washing activities should be banned. All hoardings, banners and stickers should be banned and selected places should be identified by Nagar Nigam which does not distract the commuters and traffic where official advertising can be done. A strict fine and imprisonment be imposed on all illegal posters including that on the printers also.A site /ph.no. be circulated wherein public can post photo/video of any illegal activity and strict action be taken against offender.

Kanpur needs a International Airport as it is the hub for leather and textile.My suggestion are:1. Make the list of all Nagar Nigam officials public alongwith their contact numbers to the public so that we can report the problems to them according to the order of their seniority and they should be accountable and punitive action be taken in case of no action. 2. The whatsap no. of Nagar Ayukta,local corporator, Magistrate,CO,SOetc; be displayed in public so that complaints and video can be sent.

Kanpur badly needs a good airport, as lots of investors and recruiters do not come to the city because it is not connected with other big and small cities of the country. If International Airport is not possible, at least a big domestic airport having flights to all big cities is an urgent need of the city (generatin highest state and central revenue in UP) and its people. It is a shame that so far no government has paid any heed to this. In addition, uninturrupted power supply is needed.

शहर की बड़ी बाजारों में मल्टीलेविल पार्किंग की व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए या फिर मार्किट से दूर किसी पार्क या खुले स्थान में पार्किंग की व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए जिससे आने जाने वाले लोगो को परेशानी का सामना ना करना पड़े
