Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. कल्याण डोम्बिवली महानगर पालिका क्षेत्रात पाण्याची व्यवस्था करावी, रस्ते प्रशस्त असावे, रस्त्यावरील कचर्याचे व्यवस्थापन असावे, झोपड़पट्टी तिल लोकांची चांगल्या ठिकाणी सोय करून कल्याण डोम्बिवली शहर स्लम विरहित करावे.

Greetings for widening the murbad road but for the safety of children and pedestrian footpath over drainage near railway school must be well built and free of encroachment from vendors who are settled after covering of drainage. Traffic lights should be installed at circle near Bai ka putla so the children can cross the road safely after and before school. Regular bus stop should be made for kdmt and free from black and yellow taxis parked for murbad starting point. Charu krishna Teacher
