Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. Railways- Majority of the junta use the railways services. Facilities at station need to improve drastically.it's a junction just for name sake. No ambulance, no escalators, very less ticket Windows, hawkers at bridges selling stuff and blocking way, no tc's, stinking old washroom, no water coolers. These all facilities need to be built. Reference can be drawn from navi mum stations. Official space plus huge and clean stations. #kalyanjunction #kalyandombivli #SCPRound2 #mygov #smart city

Housing- Kalyan housing was once affordable like 5-6 yrs back. Today the per sqft rates have touched sky high. 7-8 k per sqft. But what do a buyer get investing so much in kalyan? The real estate needs to be monitored including prices. Developers should be forced to do plantation to develop green patches, put up rain water harvesting, waste management systems etc in projects. Selling and buying of flats to be strictly monitored by an authority #housingIssue#SCPRound2 #kalyandombivli

Hi, In the proposal you have mentioned its a drom city and 55% people go to work outside the city. Many of these including the local working population are tax payers. But today we get nothing for the tax we pay. A good value proposition for residents of Kalyan should be thought out by the authorities.

Public Transport system needs to be organized and should reach in corner of city Station area should be planned and organized to have smooth pedestrian movement

kalyan dombivali is already smart city only the problem is people are not disciplined a city will be never smart without smart people

कल्याण डोंबिवली क्षेृत्रातील रस्तेवाहतुकीबाबत वाहतुक विभाग आरटीओ यांचेशी समन्वय साधून ज्या ठिकाणी म्हणजेच रस्ते लहान आहेत त्याठिकाणी एक मार्गी वाहतुक करणे त्यामुळे वाहतुक कोंडीचे प्रमाण कमी होईल नो इन्टृी मधून येणारेकडून दंड वसुली करणेत यावी
