Kalyan-Dombivli is one of the 98 cities shortlisted to be developed as a ‘Smart City’ under the Smart Cities Mission of the Government of India. Kalyan Dombivli is in the process of revising the smart city proposal to participate in the Round-2 of Smart City Challenge.

KDMC appreciates the continuous support from citizens in the preparation of the plan. Further, the corporation invites the views and suggestions of the citizens on the draft proposal prepared for Kalyan-Dombivli. We hereby request you to provide us your valuable insights and suggestions on the proposal.

Applying Smart Solutions to infrastructure and services in area-based development in order to make them better. For example, making Areas less vulnerable to disasters, using fewer resources, and providing cheaper services.

कचरा—कचरे के लिए जगह जगह एक्सैस पॉइंट बनाए जाए ताकि रोड पर कचरा न हो ओर डोर टु डोर कचरा प्रणाली को बेहतर किया जाए.

Promoting mixed land use in area based developments–planning for ‘unplanned areas’ containing a range of compatible activities and land uses close to one another in order to make land use more efficient. The States will enable some flexibility in land use and building bye-laws to adapt to change.

Preserving and developing open spaces - parks, playgrounds, and recreational spaces in order to enhance the quality of life of citizens, reduce the urban heat effects in Areas and generally promote eco-balance.

Green area is most important, and also traffic management. Rain harvesting also most important for future,and develop the Dombivli station, we hear that the thakurli station is converting in railway Junction, is good because there is lots of space for Train comparing to Kalyan. most important of Road please don,t convert to our old road in to concrete road they cant obj er the rain water.

कल्याण डोमबीवाली महानगरपालिका शहर की सडक् की हर चौक को डेवेलोप करके फयनिंग और वाइड करके ट्रैफिक को खुला कर सकते है हर रेलवे स्टेशन बस स्टैंड के नजदीक मुल्टिस्टोरेड पार्किंग तयार करके स्टेशन पर होनेवाली भीड़ कंट्रोल करेगे जादासे जादा पेड़ लगाकर प्रदुषण को रोकेगे
