The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY), with other departments of the
Government of India (GoI), is working on building an enabling ecosystem to leverage digital platforms for transformative social, economic and governance impact, through a citizen-centric approach.

The next step towards improving the lives of Indian citizens in a transformative way, is to build robust ‘National Open Digital Ecosystems’ (NODE), i.e. open and secure digital delivery platforms, anchored by transparent governance mechanisms, which enable a community of partners to unlock innovative solutions, to transform societal outcomes.

Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MeitY) has come out with a whitepaper which highlights key elements of NODE and describes the paradigm shift from earlier approaches to digital governance or ‘GovTech’. It establishes design principles that can help realize the full potential of open digital ecosystems to create transformative impact across sectors. The final chapter of the whitepaper lists a set of key questions on which public consultation is sought.

The purpose of this whitepaper is to solicit public comments towards a comprehensive national strategy on NODE. We would like to adopt a participatory process to prepare this strategy and seek perspectives from a broad spectrum of stakeholders including government officials in the Centre and the States, policy researchers, entrepreneurs, technology developers, and civil society, more broadly.

To facilitate the analysis of the comments / feedback, you are requested to please mention page numbers in your feedback. [For example, #Page 26 – Suggestion] This will help us compile and analyse the feedback in a structured manner.

In case you have more than one suggestion to offer, you may find it convenient to type out your comments (with page nos.) in a separate document and upload the same.

It is known that there is no treatment of corona virus. Then how so many patients admitted in hospitals are getting treated. The answer is their better immunity. This also explains that a young person dies because of lower immunity and at the same time old person with better immunity gets recovered. Research on Aurvedic prescriptions are going on for treatment but results are inconclusive but, it is confirmed that they do increase immunisation level which increases chance of recovery.

Jai Hind, We have always seen that there are several times that we have caught hold of corruption or mismanagements after the spy video got viral while the corruption or any mismanagement being taken place. Like the Arogya Setu app, there must be a application where people can directly shoot this videos and once shot cannot be deleted. All the app users can watch and share the video. A particular team would be there to act upon the videos. Jobs would be created and corruption would be lowered.

Jai Hind, As per my opinion for the NODE initiative we must firstly develop a indigenous electronic market. If major electronic equipments like mobile, laptop etc are made in China, USA etc we are indirectly giving away all our personal information, location everything to a different country. We must be self reliant. We use TV, fridge, ac, bikes, cars almost literally everything made in foreign. Whats the use of sending rockets to moon if we cannot build these basic products by our own?

NODE is a splendid initiative from the goverment but the issue is that more than half of our country doesn't know how to even do a Google search properly. Proper education is required for which proper schooling is required. Cyber security is required. The government can employ a pool of computer background workers by creating a ecosystem for such by promoting it in schools and colledges. Jobs would be created, investment is low and pollution emition is also lower in a digital workspace.

Namskar! Request #2 I will request Indian Government to promote work from home through freelancing opportunities. *Asia is biggest region to provide freelancers worldwide but India is not leading it. You can check the statistics using Google trends and other tools to verify the same.* Please promote freelancing to generate awareness amongst youth. It has the potential to create self employment. Jay Hind!

Enforcing something like what people shall wear is not going to do good for a brand. Long time back this norm was there that all peons were supposed to wear Khadi. That dented the image of Khadi rather than doing good to Khadi. Now, PM wears Khadi and asks citizens to wear Khadi. He is brand ambassador of Khadi and Khadi sales is rising every year
