As part of the Government of India’s vision for Viksit Bharat (Developed India) by 2047, the Ministry of Tribal Affairs in collaboration with MyGov invites citizens to actively participate in the initiative themed “Role of Tribal Communities in Viksit Bharat”. This initiative aims to recognize and celebrate the invaluable contributions of India’s tribal communities in shaping a sustainable, inclusive, and progressive nation.

Participants are encouraged to share their ideas, suggestions, and perspectives on how tribal knowledge systems, cultural heritage, sustainable practices, and community-led models can serve as guiding forces in India’s socio-economic, cultural, and environmental development.

Discussion is open to all Indian citizens. Selected ideas may be featured in national publications, exhibitions, and included in policy-level discussions.

The tribal communities of India can play a vital and transformative role in viksit bharat intiative 1.Sustainable Development and Environmental Stewardship: A Forest Conservation: Tribal communities are the traditional custodians of forests. They can lead sustainable forest management. B.Traditional Knowledge: Utilize tribal knowledge in agriculture, herbal medicine, and water conservation for ecologically sound development. C.Eco-Tourism: Promote tribal areas as eco-tourism hubs, offering livelihood while conserving nature. 2. Inclusive Economic Development: A.Handicrafts & Artisanship: Provide market linkages, branding, and digital platforms for tribal handicrafe B.Skill Development:Tailor skilling programs to tribal youth in areas like agriculture,textiles, forest produce,and digital skills. c.Entrepreneurship: Support tribal entrepreneurship through Mudra loans, SHGs, and local startups. 3. Education and Capacity Building Contextual Education: Promote culturally relevant.

"I'm looking for suggestions, so please share anything that comes to mind."  Specific Suggestions: "I'm trying to improve [area/project]. Do you have any suggestions on how I can do that?" "I'm struggling with [problem]. Any ideas on how to solve it?" "I'm considering [option 1] and [option 2]. What do you think would be the best approach?" "We're looking for creative ideas for [project]. What are your thoughts?" Phrases that invite suggestions: "Shall we...?, "What about...?, "Would you like to...?, "Let's..., and "Why don't we...?.
