The FCI 1.operates in a centralised fashion 2.procures food from farmers way beyond its storage capacity thus resulting in wastage of food stocks and also inflation. The following could be possible measures:1.decentralise the operation so that the states capable of procuring and distributing can do it themselves 2.need to have a highly professional agency for looking after storage and make FCI as a procurement agency alone 3.maintain only required quantity of buffer stocks.

FCI has so far been doing the routine activities of storing and despatching food grains only.It should be made to have additional function of procuring other edible items of daily consumption ,storing them even by creating cold storages wherever required on PPP model.FCI being entrusted such additional responsibility ,country will be able to reduce the much talked about wastages by deployment of less additional manpower.

When a citizen of india seeks justice who should he go to? Justice is so expensive and full of corruption. People can be charged on false cases just by paying money or if u have links. Innocent people are going behind bars and false accusers are living happily. I am not against women rights but in 2013 only 76% rape cases were false. Why the false accusers are still roaming freely. More than 90 % cases in indian courts are dowry, domestic violence and rape related.

I appreciate Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji for empowering us with RIGHT TO INFORM. The faults lie not with the structure of FCI whether it is organizational or infrastructural. The attitude of employees and inappropriate bureaucratic procedures tarnish its reputation.Privatization is not the answer to solve problems. Government must continue to control the food stocks of the nation for national food security.Rejuvenate human resources by Promote deputation, permit migration, of FCI officials

We develop our own ERP product and use all Gov sector. We can manage corruption issues and financial defect. We can also create new opportunities in Gov IT sector.
