Unified Mobile Application for New-age Governance or UMANG developed by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology was inspired from the vision of Hon’ble Prime Minister, who said “e-Governance, let us think about ‘mobile first’ and thus give importance to m-Governance”.

On November 23, 2017, the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi dedicated the UMANG Mobile app to the Nation with 163 services. UMANG is an initiative to build a common, unified platform, aggregating major government services of Center, States, local bodies, including important utility services, to facilitate a single point access through mobile app, anytime, anywhere. Citizens need to download just one mobile application and can access multiple services.

UMANG was envisaged to have a transformative and historic impact on the lives of citizens by allowing them to avail digital services on 24*7, without any intermediary. Connected government, effective & economic governance, citizen centricity, inclusiveness, universal access and citizen participation in governance are some of the key benefits of UMANG for citizens as well as the Government.

Within a short period of its successful running, the mobile app bagged the ‘Best m-Government Service’ award at the 6th World Government Summit held at Dubai, UAE, in February 2018. UMANG also won at the IDC Digital Transformation Awards 2018 in August, under the category Omni-experience Innovator, which recognized it as a pioneering initiative.

The ‘Digital India Jury choice award 2018-19’ and DARPG Gold award 2018-19 for ‘Excellence in providing Citizen Centric Delivery’ respectively, were also bestowed upon UMANG. Information dissemination and delivery of government services, for assisting citizens on various aspects of life & livelihood, is being taken to another level through the consolidation of many important and widely used government services onto a single unified mobile app i.e. UMANG

UMANG Team now invites your suggestions for which 3 new services to on-board from State/Central Government departments on to the UMANG Platform.

मेरे गाँव तिश्ती तहसील रसूलाबादकानपुर देहात चकबन्दी नहीं हुई जबकि चकबन्दी कानून भारतीय संसद में 1962 को पेश किया गया था ।मुख्यमन्त्री जीकी जन सुनवाई के माध्यम से 2019व2019कोशिकायत दर्ज कराई।समबन्धित विभाग के लेखपाल ,कानूनगोजी के कथनुसार ग्राम पंचायत की अनुमोदित पत्र की प्रति रसूलाबाद मे रिसीव कराई ।आज आपके इस मंच केमाध्यम से पुनः निवेदन है कि मेरे गाँव तिश्ती केआसपास सभी गाँव मे चकबन्दी केलियेपहलकरे,कृपाकरके छोटे किसानभाईकीसमस्यासमझेऔर चकबन्दी जल्द से जल्द करवाये।फोटो संन्लग्न है

App should be more user friendly as most of the time it shows service not available. Should have Right to information service as well. Adhar kyc update should be included in umang app so no has to wait for offline kyc centre.

Umang platform should have “myfirstmile” on it as it is a new startup I found recently that lets you book ambulances in any state of India and as we are living in the new era I believe that ambulances might be the new need . Government should join hands with them and shall help people in distress. If anyone wants to visit the website :- https://www.myfirstmile.in/ and I found that it is even available on Play store under the name myfirstmile. I really like this new startup. Do check it.

People are facing lot of problem while filing the income tax return, so need to abolish income tax and come up with the financial tax instead of income tax, so each every financial transaction like banking, mutual fund, property or other must be new financial tax instead of personal tax. This shall help govt to abolish personal tax & help individual to save time in filing income tax. This financial tax must be implemented on transaction turn over basis.
