Electronics Sector is a critical Sector of the Indian Economy. It is one of the pillars of “Make in India” and “Digital India” programs of the Government.
Keeping in view that the Electronics Manufacturing Sector holds a great potential in the Indian context, and there has been a gap between the achievement and the potential of this sector, NITI Aayog has prepared a Draft Strategy Paper for Make in India in Electronics.
This Strategy paper titled Make in India - Strategy for Electronic Products has been uploaded on NITI Aayog’s website and can be accessed here: http://niti.gov.in/writereaddata/files/document_publication/Electronics%...

We would appreciate valuable comments and inputs on the Strategy Paper from relevant stakeholders and public at large by 15th June 2016.

It is very essential to revive our education syllabus at polytechnic/ITI/Engg. and orient it towards making, producing and innovating. Electronics is such sector in which (output/land infrastructure required) ratio is more as compared to other sectors. All current electronics companies should offload research work to college institutions and make them as resource and research partner. Its time to involve all possible colleges in such work instead of just IIT's.

Govt can implement document scanners along with finger print readers for accepting these documents instead of Xerox copies then getting attested by a govt official. It can be a three step procedure A. Govt employees login with their ID. B. They accept only original documents for scan. C. Get the finger print scanned of person supplying original document. This will make things more secure, paperless and digitized.

Sir, we need to identify the locations where technical education is imparted too much and unemployment is high. Example is UP. There must be electronic SEZ type of zones to be created to attract investments. Also, big companies as part of CSR, should open innovative centers and interview local people for small small contests. Winners shall be awarded with money and resources to built the dream. New innovations and inventions are must for electronic manufacturing, hence fresh minds r needed.
