- Expand apprenticeships and on-the-job training with MSMEs and startups so that every youth has at least one market-relevant skill by 2030. [3]

The National Youth Policy 2025 (NYP-2025) of India — what it aims for, its vision, and key focus-areas.
🔎 What is the National Youth Policy 2025
The NYP-2025 is the updated draft youth policy of the Government of India, prepared by the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MoYAS).
As of now, it is in “draft” form — MoYAS has invited comments/suggestions until mid-December 2025.
The policy is envisioned to reflect contemporary needs of Indian youth and to align youth development efforts with national goals for “a New India.”
🎯 Vision & Core Goals
The NYP-2025 sets out a broad vision:
> To channel the aspirations, energy and enthusiasm of India’s youth towards societal transformation and inclusive growth — enabling them to contribute to nation-building.
Key objectives of the policy include:
Enabling youth to become socially responsible citizens and productive economic agents — contributing to improved incomes and economic growth.
