The world is changing in significant ways, and India's youth are poised to make the most out of it. The Youth are action-oriented, having the ability to think creatively and influences positive change across society. Youth are at the fore-front in using technology in all spheres and serves as a critical component in the larger vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Hence, there is a need for introducing new policy which can suggest appropriate policy interventions taking into account the impact of digital technology on education, work & employment, how the society will experience the fast paced changes and how full or needful engagement of the youth will create a responsible society, very well led and placed on the track of process & development.

Accordingly, the Department of Youth Affairs, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports and Government of India has drafted the National Youth Policy 2023-32(NYP 2023-32) with the vision to synergize the hopes and aspirations of India's youth to enable harmonious growth of society; to harness the energies of youth more effectively towards inclusive economic growth & responsible governance; and to build an enabling environment where youth can come together, persevere, and work relentlessly with their utmost strength towards the making of a new India.

In order to ensure the participation of the stakeholders in policy making process, the Department of Youth Affairs seeks comments/views/suggestions on the draft NYP 2023-32 from all stakeholders.

Please refer to the policy document: Draft National Youth Policy (PDF 669KB)

I'm agriculture student from Bihar Agricultural University, Sabour. I want to establish my own company but I'm facing some critical issues and this is not only my issues,it's a all agricultural students issue. 1. Quality machine for production of food processing:- In Bihar no such big industry for food industry, that's why we don't know quality machine, and also they don't allow students to visit food industry in other states. 2. Uses of preservatives in food industry 3. Financial support:- bank take too much time and also USME take too much time for file processing and they give support after investment as a subsidy. 4. Land lease support:- in Bihar,we are middle class students but we need large amt of land to establish food industry.

At 10+level,, there must be a 4 weeks of NCC or NSS, Scouts&Guides, Social Service League, or Students'. Police Cadet or Basic Military training or program for all irrespective or class and group. This will promote national interest and patristic feelings among all. Even at degree level, it should be compulsory. Social responsibility will be increased. Self discipline will be increased.Physical and mental Health will also be increased. Health and enthusiastic youth will be back bone for the nation and. thus the nation's health. and vigorousity will be improved. A healthy nation and active disciplined youth can do miracles for the nation. This wil improve the strength off the country . Noe arata people particularly youth don't have discipline and. they are wasting their energy and time for unwanted and vague issues. Their energy must be channelized properly for the nation and utilized for development of the nation. Yoga and meditation can also imposed for all at secondary level

Respected Honourable PM sir, I request you that please accept my views about the enrich the abilities of youth. 1.Today the world is home to the largest generation of young people in history 1.2billion people, 90%of the world's youth live in developing countries.Across the world's,today's youth are three times more likely to be unemployed than other adults.UN secretereiate defines youth as those persons between the ages of 15-24years. 2.Lack of lifeskills, youth today are unwilling to update or enhance their skills.Lack of awareness of opportunities, youth today are not aware of the opportunities which will help them to be successful. 3.The goal of SDG 4 is to ensure inclusive&equitable quality education &promote life long learning opportunities for all. 4 youth empowerment is based on vocational education, training&communication skills 5.Mandatory Army training or self-defense training for all. 6.Both Patriotisam &Nationalism should be taught to the youth. 7.Motiv self-employment

Today's Youth is however upcoming future. In Educational Field : Emphasizing more on Practical knowledge in every field of their education along with the theoretical knowledge. Importance of practical knowledge will make the Youths learn the concept more quickly rather than only theoretical studies. And every Month a webinars/Seminars must be held so as they can show case their knowledge in various domains of their interest for the developed and innovative Nation. In Co curricular Field : Also for the physical and mental development of youths, various sports /Music /Dance etc activities should be made mandatory rather than making it optional. This will enhance their mental knowledge alone with physical fitness.
