Inviting Suggestions on Draft India Data Accessibility & Use Policy 2022

The draft India Data Accessibility and Use Policy was published on MeitY website on February 21, 2022. Since its publication, MeitY has been receiving several comments and suggestions on the draft policy. It’s also observed that there is a need to bring in some more clarity with regard to some of the clauses in the draft policy so that the objectives of the Data Accessibility policy to enable better services is made amply clear. These clauses will be finalized after getting inputs of stakeholders in the consultation process Accordingly the draft policy document for consultations is being shared here.

प्रधानमंत्री जी, कृपया देश हित में एक देश एक कानून लागू किया जाए । जनसंख्या नियंत्रण कानून लागू किया जाए। देश के विकास के लिए आरक्षण को पूरी तरह समाप्त किया जाए। आप देश हित में कर सकते हैं। धन्यवाद

We have our satellites and what we need is GPS data linking and our own UPI networking for bad times of economic transactions. People are scarred to use our own because of Lack of Trust in Govt systems. If you ensure them about surety in safety ,then people might switch over slowly . In the event of War, all these so-called big countries, might jumble and corrupt electronic formations to create chaos. We are depending too much on a Black Box whose input and Output is not in control. Wake up, US and other countries behaviours against Russia should be a wake up call for all of us.

We need to have our own systems for satellite map system similar to Google map and our own-electronic payment system . In the even of war and sanctions , we are bound to cripple like Ukraine Russia war and sanctions. Too much dependence on foreign systems is dangerous. Our independence is a must.

For accessing data high level security shall be incorporated. As a initial step registred mobile OTP shall be used. Those who are accessing data , they shall be follow some self guided security to be followed. Under any circumstances they should not share their computer. While leaving desk they have to be logged out.even to close friends also they should not share their computer. Users shall not note their password on any desk top caleders on their dairies. Passwords shall not be with date of birth or their Nick names. Passwords shall be in combination with alphanumerics and with special characters.

Data is a digital assets of our country.it should save and protect carefully. 1 A national data centre should be established for procure data for future use. 2 Digital awareness campaign should be launched for procure data 3 A digital law should be formed control and regulation of data. 4 Service provider should be responsible for linkage of data to other party without valid permission.

The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology (MEITY) on February 21, 2022 released a policy proposal titled as, “Draft India Data Accessibility & Use Policy, 2022”. The policy aims to, “radically transform India’s ability to harness public sector data”. The proposals of the Draft Data Accessibility Policy has been in the spotlight for permitting the licensing and sale of public data by the Government to the private sector
