The journey of the Self is with the body, mind and soul. For body Yog asana and pranayam have to be introduced in everyday life. Alongwith this for mind and soul meditation needs to be introduced which was the practice in olden times but lost somewhere in modernisation. Also as emphasised by Shri Narendra Modiji in his Man ki baat talk, relaxation of body and mind needs to be practiced for better life.

Prime Minister ji, let the technical officials of this ministry, first, concentrate on the research programs entrusted to their doctors. I am of the view that this ministry is only pulling on their time just for drawing their salary from the govt. People are not taken care of.

Here are my views:
1) Employees from all government organisations and students of schools should perform Yoga for at least 1 hour on Yoga day.
2) Yoga classes should be mandatory in school throughout the year and need full time teacher.
3) Need to drive initiative to perform Yoga at society, Gym and private organisation level - declare prizes at city/ward level for best picture competition - people won't participate without it (I tried in our society but failed to motivate society members).

You should focus on Classical Ayurveda. I have seen cancer being cured, kidneys being saved, fibroids disappearing, diabeties completely cured with this.
If AYUSH does not care for such a treasure from India, then who will. The place I know which does follow Classical Ayurveda (not the general stuff that is taught and practices as Ayurveda), is Ambuja Ayurvedic Clinic, Udayamperoor.

We can address most frequently asked questions like what's the best time to practice yoga, what to eat before practice and after practice, the sequence of the practice. Third, we need to highlight the specific objectives and benefits of the yoga poses and pranayama. This will stimulate people to take yoga more seriously. Yoga has been found to have a powerful effects on variety of ailments. We need to bring aspect into focus to bring out the therapeutic nature of this wonderful art.
